I WAS NOT EXPECTING THIS | Alan Wake 2 #4

Yeah, I don’t think Alan Wake 2 is going to get Goty, but this section was absolutely amazing.

For some reason this part of the game reminds me of a few lsd trips from the past 😂😂

Alanah playing like a typical Survival Horror player and not wanting to use her ammo in the musical section was frustratingly hilarious.

Are you new to games? It was pretty obvious you had to use the flashlight boost to take the shadow from the monsters that’s why you kept dying.

The musical is one of the best things I've seen in a video game to date.

The series of events after obtaining the flare gun brought me great pain to watch

This was painful to watch. Alan Wake vets know to take encounters slow instead of rushing in and dodging to collect items... Other than that, enjoyable.

Easily the best part of the game. I regret I didn't switch back to Alan Wake sooner to do this part

I love the fact that this was like in control where the music waits for you cause specific parts of the song were tailor made for whatever part you’re on

Not only can shadow people go through doors, they can OPEN THEM.

I learned that the hard way, and got one of my many "jump out of my chair and go 'OOAGH' like a caveman who just saw a sabertooth jump into his home" moments I've gotten from this game. Looking at you Cynthia.

Worse yet, I thought it was a benign shadow, not the real shit he was on when he swung that door open and barked "WAKE" at me, phased 8 feet across the room, chased me down the stairs and pummeled me like his bitch.

I love this game.

Control had the Old Gods of Asgard also doing the music during the maze part.
