Of the two Avia's pictured here which ones do you favor the most? I tend to lean towards the one with the ankle strap.

I always loved the era of late 80s basketball shoes and that shoe is giving me that exact vibe. I am thinking of getting it for playing ball specifically, how would you rate it for it? Also would you say it runs true to size or is it running small?

Avia 720s & Avia 821s are the same shoe.i bought mine from walmart(avia720s) but i seen amazon has the avia 821s..Good Retro shoe...80s 90s vibe...Built tough and probably can hoop with them outdoors...

I got them...but mines called the Avia 720....i should have got the black & white colorway instead....but the white black and grey is cool...They reasonably comfy...i even tested hooping with them..comfy but heavy for hooping...but a decent 80s 90s shoe...Only some sneakerheads will know about them...

Dope retro shoe, I got the black/wht/gry pair. It seems like they took the og 820 rubber outsole, then took the og 822 upper & combined them to make the 821. Hopefully they keep it going and release some more retros from their catalogue
