In the later versions of Shi no Numa on both Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 3 you cannot grenade Peter McCain down.

On World at War when you knock Peter McCain's body down it will cause an instant game over if anyone touches it - even in co-op.

Cod waw was the creepiest cod ever made, and the best atmosphere of any cod game

I knew about this and tried getting Peter down whenever I'd randomly get death machine on BO3, but it never worked... now I know why: it was just a bug.

I remember the first time playing waw I stumbled on this Easter egg by accident and thought oh maybe this is just another soldier who was flying a plane and crashed then got hanged, but after watching the entire cod zombies storyline I now realize how he ended up like this.

thats not really an easteregg its just the physics engine being wonky, the reason it doesn't return is because later versions have better physics engines

I remember when he was simply potentially just a paratrooper who failed to properly deploy his parachute land safely, getting killed in the process. Then it all started to become about magic n marvels of science and shit and all of a sudden this paratrooper is essentially a human Macguffin in the lore.
