I was down in NZ backpacking at the time they had just finished the films and it was in the cinema watching the first one in Wellington and I sat in the theatre where the cast sat for the premier there. Whenever I smell popcorn it now it brings me back to that wonderful beginning music at the start of Fellowship and it brings a tear to my eye. It was a wonderful experience.

this definitely changed how they care about actors' feet.

My mother loved the books. She would have loved the movies, but sadly she was not alive to see and enjoy them. When i watch them, every couple years, i always think how much she would have loved what you all did to make those stories and those characters come alive. The wonderful work you all did will live, as long as the film exists.

Best movie (movies) ever! 😊 i loved them all equally by the way. The concept of loving one more than the other baffles me. I cant unwind or twist one apart from the other. In fact, to be so compelling for 9 hours is remarkable in and of itself. But thats because of J.R.R. Tolkien, Peter Jackson and the entire production team. Everyone involved.

They bring the money and keep it alive

The question about having a LOTR themed convention....Uum ya, it happened and I went to it. They had original props, the trolls, Smaug. It was great.

I'm with Elijah, Fellowship might be my favorite film of all time. It's the perfect D&D movie. As with most franchises, the first one tend to be most adventurous and original without being excessively 'Hollywood'.

It is healing to see, that not everything in this world is just about money and power. Watching these four guys, who got to know each other by accident, 20 years after their collaboration still being best buddies, is so beautiful. You can fell the connection between them. And for sure, if you would sit Ian or Orlando or Vigo or whoever besides them, he would be perfectly fitting in there. Everybody involved in the making of these movies must be a happy person for the rest of his life.

they speak as they have no seen the movies, the best scenes were without a doubt the scenes between arwen and elrond, for a little while you could see real filmatic poetry.
