I just cleaned out 50+ years of Stuff
(I Knew it was a Mistake)
About 2 weeks later, I needed a Computer Monitor Cable - I got one out in the shop
When I got there - "Everything is Gone" Bummer!
So - I dug another Computer out, to use - Power Supply is Popped
All the Power Supply's I had, are Gone Too
I'll Switch Monitors, that will match the 15 pin out
It Went Up In Smoke

Solution:
I bought the cable for the Old Computer and plugged it into a Flat Screen Monitor
I found the Popped Cap in the Monitor
The Power Supply, I can't find any of my Meters
(I think one of the split voltage sides Popped)

(PS, if I was you I'd invest in a bunch of bins for parts, label the bins, and store the part number & bin # location in a database or spreadsheet. Then you can find anything easily.)

Genius at work. Everything being repairable or recyclable. Just add time. Try to remember what a well known, wealthy person used to think, do what's most important at that the time ... and that doesn't automatically mean working. Get well and enjoy.

Not connected but I find it funny when a building that is 80 years old it is considered too old. I live in a country where buildings can be a bit older. In the village I'm in there are buildings dating back to 1098 that are in daily use.

I had both hips replaced so I feel for your husband. Short advice: The recovery from the anterior method is very quick...walking next day, mostly recovered in ~2 months. Recovery is enhanced if you can strengthen the associated muscles by exercising prior to surgery. Also be rigorous following the recommended post surgery PT exercises. All the best.

My orthopedic surgeon has had me talk to a few patients (with their permission) going in for orthopedic issues. The docs and physical therapists will get Ron back on his feet in no time. He will wonder why he waited so long. Just make sure he's receptive to their recovery plan, especially with a hip replacement. God Bless!

Really praying everything goes well with the surgery and recovery. Look forward to seeing more of your videos. The idea of having a website to be able to sell some of your new old stock I think is a good one since some of us are still using “antique” equipment and scouring the internet for parts to keep it going since it’s better than some of the new “throw away when it breaks stuff”.
