Thousands of Moroccans protest over normalisation deal with Israel

Thousands of Moroccans took to the streets to protest and call for an end to the Morocco-Israel normalisation agreement on Sunday.
Morocco recognised Israel and established full diplomatic relations when it signed the US-brokered Abraham Accords in 2020.
Protestors marched with Palestinian flags and placards condemning the “traitors that betrayed Moroccans” and “sold” Al-Aqsa Mosque before chanting for it “to be liberated”.
