It's nice to get into a University you like or whatever, but it is sad to see how almost the whole society believe such things are so ultimately important. I mean, that explains why almost the whole society eventually get so depressed and disappointed with life. The priorities of this society rely on delusional goals.

To all those that didnt make it, Elon Musk never went to Harvard and look where he is. You dont even need to go to UNI. You will be just fine, the only way you gonna fail is if you get hooked on drugs and end up stealing from your friends and family and then ending up in jail or the streets. You know the main reason they're so excited is because now they can brag to all their friends and family that they went to Harvard, right? It's like the Gucci of colleges: overpriced and not even of better quality than other universities that cost a fraction of the price. But people will willingly go broke chasing a shred of superficial social clout to try in vain to fill the vast chasm of their insecurity. Like wearing a $600 Gucci t-shirt.

When I was 18 I gave zero fks about ivy league schools. My lack of ambition has played out ever since. I'd like to be a go-getter, but that wasn't the hand I was dealt. I do have a master's degree, but from a state school. Getting accepted to Harvard is like winning the lottery. You're set for the rest of you life even if you major in women's studies. Especially if you live on the East Coast, which is a bit snottier than we are out here on the West Coast. MIT and impress me.
