Dutchie here. I’m sorry but I absolutely hate the guts of this guy. I don’t care what they say. I rooted for him before but not anymore.
They haven’t done him dirty. He misbehaved. To the best of my knowledge. Obviously, I wasn’t there. However, the police had enough evidence to turn it over to the OM. I also saw his behaviour during the press conference. That was absolutely disgraceful. He was representing my country at the time and he should have behaved politely.If he couldn’t do that, he shouldn’t have participated.
As for this song: I assume little children are his new target audience.

Came back to say that if anyone was mistreated during Eurovision, it was 20-year-old Israeli singer Eden Golan. Not your “hero” Joost.

She could not safely leave her room, she could not to safely go into Malmö, she was boycotted by almost all her fellow contestants, the Finnish contestant felt the need to officially state after 5 minutes of interaction with her that this did not mean he approved of Israel in any way shape of form, the Irish self-proclaimed witch demanded for her to be moved to another hotel because to even breathe the same air in the same hotel was apparently too much for her.

Eden was booed also by her fellow contestants and their fan base during rehearsal and during semi finals and finals.

During the finals, the fan base of your hero Joost felt the need to loudly sing EuroPapa because he was disqualified, this had nothing to do with Eden. Only with his own stupid behaviour.

Talking about emotion during and after the song! Yeah I get it, Joost lost his parents at a young age, well, boo hoo, lots of people do. Eden sang on behalf of a whole traumatised country, very very emotional. No one really took that into account when they decided that she needed to be booed during this song, did they.

This is not even everything that happened, but I think it’s enough to owe her a huge apology.

Shame on everyone. You are nothing but a bunch of horrible bullies.
