Poking at Homer’s offensive body odors is another great angle to milk more humor I’m disappointed they never really took off with it the other time I recall them playing off this is when the pet shop guy ask d out loud about a foul smell and turned around to find out it was Homer

two of my younger brothers once had a contest to see who could wear a pair of socks for the longest amount of time without washing them. After 2 months, one of them said "I can't do this anymore, this is just filthy." But the other one continued wearing his dirty socks. He figured he'd come that far, so why not see how much further he could go. After 3 months, the smell became so bad that it stung the nostrils and almost made me feel physically ill. When he finally took them off his feet, he threw one at our lounge room wall and it left a nasty brown stain on the wall too. He has somehow grown up to become a pretty clean person.
