The first time I saw this cutscene I thought it was excessively edgy(which it admittedly is). But on my second viewing I find that points spoke upon here were touched on in previous metal gear games. The lack of freewill would mean there is no morality, you can't be evil or good if your actions were decided by the course of memes which was determined from before you were born. And that combat can be addicting due to the rush of endorphins and adrenaline that it gives those involved. But it goes about these points very sloppily compared to the other games in the franchise

Monsoon and now Buggy from One Piece have taught me that being able to detach limbs would both be pretty cool and pretty funny.
