Ok
ОтветитьI think Nintendo should say "its just a prank bro" to PointCrow and get it over with
ОтветитьDude, talk about not understanding technology, congress doesn’t even know how Wifi works 🤦♂️🤦♂️
ОтветитьAre they talking about Moon Channel's video?
ОтветитьIs that you Charlie???
ОтветитьNintendo is just a trash company now
ОтветитьI don’t think you guys really understood the main point, nintendo is overprotective of their IPs because that’s the only thing they have, even just a little bit of modding can be harmful at a big scale to it, which would be a risk nintendo is not taking
ОтветитьThe last 3 seconds of this clip is very passionate lol
ОтветитьThe gaming industry was founded on mods, without valve modding the quake engine we would be 10 years behind in video games progression
ОтветитьI guess that the publisher do own not only assets but the engine and how things are running with games...
But it's super weird, if you don't sell it you can modify so many tangible, physical things. And even resell them legally. But just because games are digital, suddenly the customer owns nothing after the purchase, only a license for access.... yet they want to increase the price of said purchase whilst withdrawing as much as possible that's included in that license to access. It's absurd and unlike any other type of purchase.
What happened with PointCrow?
Ответитьwatch the video! hahhahahaha
ОтветитьRemember if they can't understand the concept of social media they won't understand how mods work its a lose lose situation for anyone in that community to do a legal battle.
Ответитьi almost think that legaleagle didn’t understand the difference between the two situations
ОтветитьTrying so hard to put yourself on the same level as Pointcrow when you've been forgotten in regard to the switch since like 2018-19 💀💀💀
ОтветитьYou dont sell mods, thats the rule modders go by.
ОтветитьSmallant said something interesting on the topic. He said he thought the reason that pointcrow was targeted was because he had linked the mods and how to mod games like breath of the wild in his videos. Thus, Nintendo wasn't so much mad that he was doing it, it was a case that they didn't want a spread of how to mod and manipulate their properties being advertised for everyone.
ОтветитьWhat kills me about law, is that Lawyers who only know Sooo much about aspects of life outside their profession dictate how we operate. As a software developer and engineer it irks me that we dont have enough scientists writing laws
ОтветитьWhy would selling a modification be illegal? Should selling car paint be illegal? By this logic it should be since it’s infringing on/modifying some one else’s product.
ОтветитьIm pretty sure the lawyer their talking about is „Moon Channel“
Ответитьwhy does that guy look like a budget penguinz0
