Without context, I would've assumed Tom and Lisa were two different podcasters with extremely opposing views who regularly hate on each other doing a collab for views.

Having seen Ed Mylett talk in person when I was in WFG, I tend to roll my eyes when he starts speaking. Also, my doctor told me that walking is a great exercise for me since I have joint issues and long Covid, so anything too intense is problematic. He, my doctor, actually thinks walking my dog multiple times a day is a great way for me to stay in shape and lessen my symptoms. So, yeah, probably going to take his words over Ed's where that's concerned.

To be fair you have to look at the research. Resistance and VO2 max training have been shown to dramatically increase mobility in later life. In your final, marginal decade, they can be the difference between picking up your grandchildren or walking up flights of stairs V’s shitting in a diaper and spending $$$ on drugs that are slowly killing you.

Why is Tom obsessed with ambition?? Like not all of us care about becoming millionaires, some of us just want comfortable, soft and slow lives with our loves doing what makes us happy and fulfilled. For many of us our jobs are just a way to pay the bills. What a two dimensional view of people.

I dont know how anyone could listen to these two talk in what should be a private conversation turned into a poor excuse for a podcast. These two block heads have nothing unique to offer except their own experiences which probably only apply to a very narrow segment of the population. You cant dispense advice based on gender alone and pretend like it should apply to everyone or even to most people. It really speaks to their hubris. They are both full of themselves. Having a lot of money doesnt gain you special insight into life, love or what have you. Unfortunately our culture puts millionaires on a pedestal. There are far more qualified people out there who can give you better advice than these two bozos: one whose dad was already rich and successful and the other who created yet another fing nutrition candy bar. Because thats what the world needs...They act like they cured cancer or something, geez

As a parent, I do not do rank which child I would save because the idea of something happening to my children makes me feel sick to my stomach. I don't need to think about awful hypothetical situations. If I have to choose one day (which, most people don't), I won't be thinking that I should have planned for this.

I think a huge issue here is that people like Tom and Lisa use "leadership" as a term to define who actually rules the relationship and has the power at the end of the day.

Personally I prefer to just be a proactive person and be with a proactive person. The hierarchy is unnecessary if you've got two proactive people thinking about how to be a loving partner.

I love when Lisa interviews experts on her show and brings women professional perspectives from diverse women on WOI. In this interview, I feel uncomfortable with how Tom is talking to her and treating her. 😔

From my perspective, Lisa is of much higher intelligence than her husband. And he knows it. I think all of his great ideas have come from her. She may not know it, but she is playing the long game because this guy is destined to fail her. I think she’s a supremely good person and she’s just following her values while still staying safe. I think once he fails her publicly (and irreparably) the hair and fashion will go. Those are her armor right now.

OMG Tom is sooo insecure, she always has to watch what she’ says, like the whole “you are not a jealous person” in only fans convo, it’s OK to not want your partner’s nude pics, why does she always have to stroke his ego with this “he’s not like other guys”? She seems to want to be accepting of others and let people be, perhaps at some point in life she also had a “not like other girls” syndrome and clearly was into blowing up his ego, but she seems to want to be over it, while he’s still stuck in this with “not like other guys” era.

My favorite part is where Tom talks about how great a mom he would choose to be hahaha. We were ALL that mom before we had kids L M A O
