Although David Tennant was wonderful as the 10th Doctor, Matt Smith "CRUSHED" the roll of Dr. Who for me!

The Rings Of Akhaten Speech will never NOT make me cry. It's just so beautiful and heartbreaking, and I truly applaud Matt's acting for that scene. So perfect.

Okay. Very late comment.. but.. everytime I watch the Pandorica speech.. I just think.. yes it looks epic but it was stupidly scripted.. because if it was real.. every one of those alien ships would have just open fired and blasted them all to oblivion

I think Matt added a lot of emotional depth to this character.

I hate how Matt had like the shortest physical regen wish it was like David’s instead of him flicking his head back and capaldi being there

What I really love about Moffat esp. during Matt Smith’s 11th Doctor era, was how he portrayed the relationship between the TARDIS and The Doctor. It was more than a ship, it felt like a warm entrance to a home and a living being.

Gods I miss what Doctor Who used to be. Sure the politics we’re in it a little but now it’s been completely overrun by it. It’s now not a show about a madman in a box, now it’s just a mouthpiece for the latest but of propaganda. Many of us will watch the episodes with Tennant back and then back to the show being dead. I can’t believe what they’ve done to our show, man.

matt smith is easily my favourite doctor, but its a shame the writing for capaldi was so bad compared, he definitely could have been equally as good

Every time I watch 11th I realize he collects the debts mostly, he uses his name as the Doctor more than anything else

When David said "I don't wanna go", it broke my heart - because I didn't want him to go either, he was the best Doctor and tbh I don't want him to go after the 60th anniversary episodes. I couldn't bring myself to like Matt smith - even though I get he was really good.

I honestly can’t help but be moved by the last speech Matt Smith does before the change. Even tho I never really loved him as much as DT and PC in he role, his series was the one that had the best storytelling from the modern Doctors.

People saying the Pandorica speech has no power, because the enemies devised a trap should really think about it through and through. The whole reason for that trap, for creating the Alliance against the Doctor was the fear of him. They basically pissed their pants in fear of that one unarmed man. Every enemy gathered over Stonehenge could press that button and shoot the Doctor, ending his "reign of terror". But non of them actually dared. They wouldn't need a trap if the Doctor was dead. But they were still scared, not a single Dalek, not a single Cyberman, not a single Sontaran and whoever else was up there had the gutts to kill the Doctor. OUT OF FEAR. So don't tell me that speech isn't powerful.

Watching this now, knowing Tennant is returning makes this SO MUCH MORE EPIC!!!

The dialogue with Idris (the living TARDIS in a human body) was so magical, but still factually wrong. She scolded him for not reading the manual on the door, but that's not for the door, that's for that small compartment with the phone inside. Yes, the real police box door opened by pulling, but the manual refers to that small door on the actual door and not the actual door itself. And even TARDIS herself opens the door for the Doctor (after he snaps fingers) the very same way, she opens them inwards, not how she said they should properly open. It's a dynamical and so amazing dialogue between them, I really love it, but in this very moment the TARDIS is simply wrong. XD

The 11th hour.....we were freshly broken hearted and mourning 10s departure. Matt Smith truly had gigantic shoes to fill......boy he filled them beautifully. 10 is my Doctor....but 11 is my bestie ❤❤

Best act had would been, if the Doctor had regenerated in that tower. Missed chance. The real regenerating was very bad.

David was my fav until this amazing man showed up. 1 year re-watch haha.
