I have the SB-2845 speakers connected to a Samsung hwc500 receiver to listen my classics sounds. Pretty good quality sound. 👍

yup had the same exaxt one I was 12 and still remember putting it together I ended up giving it away in 2010 too bulky mine had the spectrum analyzer eq as well!

I bought this EXACT system in January of 91 and still listen to it every day.

Just bought the same one in perfect condition with speakers and everything for $170

Достойный звук, я много лет находился в поиске эталона и правильного звука, далее в машине у меня стояли ламповые усилители, но с возрастом я пришел к выводу что погоня за детальностью и реалистичностью это дорога в тупик, основа музыки это чтобы был кайф, чтобы накрывало, это когда перестаешь щёлкать песни и слушаешь все композиции полностью до конца не зависимо от жанра. Ваш вариант звучит кайфово, не знаю конечно какой звук в живую но на Ютубе в хороших наушниках звучит отлично, звук правильный

I am resurrecting my stereo system that I bought original. It still sounds awesome with the SB-A31 speakers. However I noticed that there is an A and B switch on the SU-G50 Integrated Amplifier, but only 1 pair of speaker cables each for A and B connections on the back. I had connected A to L channel and B to R channel in the past and they work. However, what are the 2 separate A and B switches in front for? I can only use A off, B on for getting sound from both speakers. How can I use both switches to switch speaker systems if there are only connections for 2 speakers? If so, should it not work only if both switches are on? Puzzled mightily....

I love the Technics SB-A31 speakers, they pretty legend and awesome. I suppose the same speakers that Daikin used at 2017 as I remember correctly.
Technics SB-A31 speakers are one of my favorite speakers.

I have a very similar system to this but with the G70 Integrated Amp, the RS-TR267, GH-E70 EQ added on and SB-A33 speakers. The A31 and A51 speakers do look much better, I have to admit. Would love to find a pair! Everything else is the same. I don't have the matching SL-BD27U Turntable, yet but I'll get it as soon as I find one.

And forget about finding the matching cabinet. I'm hoping I find one but I'm not holding my breath. God knows what happened to the MILLIONS of these precious rack stereos from the 80's, 90's and the 2000's. There seems to be only a handful of them in existence these days and that makes me so sad.

On the back of the amp it has a screw and it says ground how do you ground it in a car stereo system you would just ground it to the frame is there any need to ground a home stereo system I mean it works really good but that amp does get very hot I was thinking a ground rod outside or I could ground it in my panel but that just seems like a lot of work if it's not going to boost the performance I've had it for 4 or 5 years now and most of the time it just stays on so if it was going to burn down it would have already done it cuz I always forget to turn it off when I go to bed
