Dealer just called.. I have an allocation! He's saying May it will show up in BC, Canada.
ОтветитьConspiracy.. New Taccovid! Seriously, I think all manufacturers are in a heap load of trouble from overcharging in a poor economy, and no parts or people not working makes it even worse. Just my opinion.
Ответить2mpg is a lot as a % when you’re talking about a 15-20mpg vehicle and it can make the difference for an acquisition sale. I don’t think most Tacoma sales are acquisition sales so I don’t think it’s the right strategy. Most previous and current Tacoma owners are buying for reliability and capability which we see as diminished reliability due to the turbo power plants. We’ll see who’s right soon enough.
ОтветитьThe purpose of the four-cylinder was not to save gas, you can't change physics you need a certain amount of gas to move a vehicle, but was to have one engine that could work with compact, medium-sized, and large vehicles, using a naturally aspirated version a turbo version and a Turbo Hybrid version.
ОтветитьMy dealership in Upstate New York has 14 2024s Tacomas on their website, they recently posted arrival dates of March 18th and March 28th on their website for most of them, 2 are presold.
ОтветитьMy dealership in Nor cal said they probably won’t get any til the end of summer
ОтветитьWhatever reason for delays. Main thing Toyota don’t have problems with their turbo 4 cylinder engines, like Ford had with their EcoBoost engines, something about coolant intrusion. If I not mistaken.🤷♂️🤔
ОтветитьFirst world problem. Nobody knows why the new Tacoma is delayed. I remind myself that it is a common occurrence with new designs. You said it yourself that there are very few of the Tacoma and Prius. I remember the same thing happening when the '22 Tundra was first released. There were delays and then a very slow trickle of releases. I can hardly imagine all of the possible snafu's along the way. My guess is that either parts shortages, assembly line issues, or final QC problems found. Or, some combination of these three? I'd like to comment though on your theory about Toyota holding back on releases to drive up prices. Do you really think that Tumble Weeds in the lot helps their sales----->profits? They only make money when they are selling vehicles. They know that the demand for the new Tacoma is high. They will sell like mad when they hit the lots. I'll bet $10 that the most frustrated group in this whole scenario are the dealerships. Good on Toyota to hold the trucks back until they feel like the truck is ready to roll.
ОтветитьThis is a ploy by toyota making people wait till there willing to pay the ridiculously high prices to be the first kid on the block to have one at any cost your gonna see finance Co. Offering 8 to 10 year payments mark my words
Ответитьmaybe when the give me the trade in value of my current tacoma i will then tell them about MY "market adjustment".
ОтветитьMy guess is they’re delaying them to draw down the inventory of 2023 Tacomas.
ОтветитьThe pre runner at SEMA had the Tundra twin turbo love that truck!
ОтветитьOne of your competitor channels posted today & showed us a 2024 SR5. Over $47k for a freakin base truck — $47k?!?! That’s not even mentioning the mpg’s. Complete GARBAGE! Toyota is killing themselves from within.
Ответитьyes Rob it’s slow production at the start up with doubling down on quality control. I would rather have a vehicle a month or two or three late then have one that’s bug ridden.
ОтветитьHopefully everybody that allocation request get their tacoma they want just remember, you can’t just order tacoma, nowadays it’s all about allocation request what region and what dealership you go through to get the Tacoma you want
ОтветитьCovid is a very bullshit excuse
ОтветитьFrom what I've seen, the 2023 Tundra Hybrid gets 19 MPG with majority highway driving. No thanks.
ОтветитьBellevue Wa Toyota has like 34 2023 Tacoma’s at like 3000-4000 off!! Perfect time to buy the 2023 Tacoma’s at a discount
ОтветитьMy dealer told me June or later for mine. I don't know that ordering a manual transmission truck is a contributing factor for the long wait.
ОтветитьIt's all a ploy.
ОтветитьWe need to dispatch someone to Apaseo el Grande.
ОтветитьIf you havent heard a rumor by 3PM, just start one!
ОтветитьTurbos exploding. 😐
ОтветитьBe patient. Now we are building all of them, this means you will get a high quality truck. Not what you have
ОтветитьWe are building all of them in our beautiful México country. On a daily basis I saw trailers loaded with them on a daily basis, be patient you will get one from our top notch quality
ОтветитьRefuse to pay msrp or above
Guess I’ll keep my 2015 Tacoma still In great shape
