Try driving in rain where your windshield is foggy whether you turn on your heater or air conditioner. And you can't defog your windshield. Now that sucks.

What happens to the stuff that can't sell? How much of a pallet is just trashed?

If someone did something nice for my Grandpa, whether, at a business or a stranger helping with a flat tire, he would pull a little money from his wallet and say "Go buy yourself some lunch". It always made their day. He was such a kind man. I thought of him when you bought the auction employee's lunch. You rock!

Bullet Trains and Directions: if lost in Japan, ask a teenager, almost all of them speak English and like to interact with foreigners. I used to take the Bullet Train, when I lived in Japan for 4 years. I couldn’t read most of the info my ticket. So, I would go to the platform indicated on my ticket and board the train that arrived on the time indicated. Even though many trains came and went, the Bullet Trains were so punctual I never got on the wrong train!

I was in Indy today and I almost went to Steak 'n Shake but I wanted to get outta dodge quickly so I passed up the opportunity. Might have to find one over the holiday weekend. Used to go there a lot in the early 00's but not much recently.
