John was a legend when we were kids fishing the river & parks in the early 90s - nice to hear him tell a few stories from back then.

Great to hear some love for Canadian carping too :) Would love to know where that little creek is that he talks about.

Remember the bodies in the river too. The kid that fell in after clubbing at Ritzy by the bridge. Sad times.

My dream angling podcast! Two Thames legends & thoroughly nice blokes. I grew up down the road from John & started fishing on the 'semi' stretch & Penn Ponds. Not sure if John's still got his pink cab, but would be great to bump into again. Excellent piece, I've watched 4 x already ❤👏💪🎣
