Nice friend you can use oxyacetylene to fill hole and repair this technique too.

What if one of my threads are cracked and both are stripped? Is there anything I can do bc I was told I may not be able to tap it and may just have to get a whole new head for my bike

A really neat idea of usage its like a complete repair due to it fuses when using a countersink bit

Nothing new here helicoils have been available for decades and is better

Just like I was taught when an apprentice 50 years ago - worked then, and still does.

In some cases I would prefer this instead of a helicoil. Drilling out and then using a larger all thread thats been drilled out, then cut new treads. More metal to have instead of a thin helicoil.

Not to mention heli coil is also stronger

interesting, that they have access to hollow bolts to make threads inserts but not access to actual thread inserts

Lot of extra work if your working flat rate helicoil works best

Or a 30 second heli coil

Just get a Healy coil kit
