Ranking Every Gears of War Game!

Gears 5 is amazing I never play online but if I compare the campaigns all the Mainline gears games are great

Gears 3 will always be my favorite, the character stories with Cole and Dom being more fleshed out, losing Dom, seeing Marcus’s dad and his death, the queen’s satisfying death, and my favorite part with the developers tricking us with Clayton’s “death” are all so memorable. Not to say the first two arn’t amazing but 3 will always be special to me

I like Gears of War 4 and Gears 5. They are good.

Ahem, if you'll allow me:

• Gears of War 2 ( love the story beats and settings )

• Gears of War ( Just the right amount of story to keep you thinking with nice gameplay )

• Gears of War 3 ( perfect ending to all the arcs, story is God )

• Gears of War: Tactics ( I like xcom fight me )

• Gears 5 ( Modernised controls, good fights and story beats are ok )

• Gears of War 4 ( Really like the recap at the beginning of the game, other than that the game is ok, feels like it could be summarized with about 3 chapters )

•Gears of War: Judgement ( it's alright, I like the characters and settings but if you want a better explanation of E-day just play shadow of RAAM DLC )

I thought Don's death was unnecessary and a waste of an awesome character, he could have put a brick on the accelerator and jumped out before the truck crashed. It would have been better if he died during a one-to-one boss battle or lived on.
