What an amazing opening scene (aside the mass shooting of the hiding Jews. Whig he insisted on milk he grabs her wrist to check her pulse to see/observe her heart best in motion for a test of her nervousness.
Such class acting, and detective work !

I love the irony when Hans states he does not think like a German soldier.

But in the final scene of the film, he berates Lt. Aldo for shooting Hermann, stating “You’ll be shot for this”, which is exactly what a German soldier would have been conditioned to believed.

Watching M. LaPadite closely (brilliant acting), you can see how he leans back and lights his pipe to appear at ease. But as Landa goes on about his perverse ability to sniff out rats, LaPadite's outlook changes. He's no longer at ease. He barely blinks. And just like how things later go down at the tavern, he inadvertently gives himself away; "there was a search 9 months ago and they found nothing."

When Lando promised him reward for the rest of the occupation of France, that was the end of it, the farmer was going to give in.

Great scene and Landa is a great character, but the rest of the movie sucks.

Waltz is soo elegant (at least as this character)
