ОтветитьI thought nasogastric feeding tubes were not recommended because they often lead to gastroesophageal reflux due to the tube going through the cardiac sphincter?

ОтветитьIsn't it better to use another opioid because butorphanol is cough suppressant to see if the animal has a cough reflex after administration of physiological saline?
ОтветитьPoor dog. Thank you for helping him
ОтветитьVery well explained, thank you very much
ОтветитьWow they are so gentle when they put them down they sedate then and numb the nose. I’ve had plenty of ng tubes and they just bring the tube in shove it up my nose and then leave.
ОтветитьMy puppy may be getting this tonight... she has parvo and the animal hospital is doing everything they can to help her. :(
ОтветитьThat is pretty fascinating I never knew an NG tube could be placed in dogs I only assumed it would be through the. Stomach via button
ОтветитьWish they sedated people like that before shoving these down our throats....
ОтветитьMy cat had an E tube 3 years ago and it saved her life. She's now having issues with her pancreatitis and is a surgical risk so an NG tube just might help. I will be asking her vet about it tomorrow.
ОтветитьDO NOT WANT
ОтветитьDo you remove the sutures once the dog no longer requires the feeding tube? Is there a less invasive way to secure the feeding tube? I am a vet nurse student and am just interested! Thanks.
Ответитьhello, this is urgent my cats paw had an infection because it smelled and was a swelled up, so I sprayed cleaning stuff on it, and the swelling is gone now, but it still stinks.. is it okay? and my parents can't afford vet
