ОтветитьAlfonso Mucha?
ОтветитьAlways inspiring. Than you!
ОтветитьIn my small collections of radios and cameras, I have an Argus A2B 35mm camera manufactured in 1942 and a 1954 Philco B562 portable tube radio, both made in the US. I just couldn't resist, it was love at first sight, I had to acquire them. They are fine examples of Art Deco. And they are in perfect working condition. I'm learning a lot watching your channel.
Ответитьone of my favorite styles, what an amazing channel.
ОтветитьIn the 70's and 80's, Austin TX's own Guy Juke's music posters reflected the art deco stylism with some incredible posters for bands playing at local venues. Still some of my favorites of the era.
ОтветитьI've come to think of myself as a pre-modernist. Art Deco is about as far as i'll go and even there can feel a little alienating.
ОтветитьThank you for this video
ОтветитьCracking stuff! Before we can read we note and register imagery. It sticks in the subconscious. I collected postage stamps - another reflection of evolving graphics. I now collect sheet music covers from internet. These covers are a source for analylitical study of history, ‘current events’ and attitudes of the time.
I do mezzotint stamp and bookplate art, but theses colors are huzza!
brilliant!
ОтветитьI too have been a designer for upwards of 30 years, and as Mr Wilkinson's post states prior, one of the best I've come across as well online. Thank you for your time, efforts and talents.
ОтветитьWonderful! Thanks a lot! Every now and then I saw a drawing style that I only knew from Joost Swarte (Artist) born in 1947). Indeed these videos are a source of inspiration.
ОтветитьBeautiful video!
Ответить“Stylish and Entertaining” just about sums up your brilliant channel.Thanks.
ОтветитьAPSACA! I've not commented for a while, for fear of superfluous repetition, but I have been watching!
ОтветитьLove A.M. Cassandre🙂
Ответить👁♥️👁
ОтветитьThis is crucial episode in the repertoire. It gets pretty abstract at some point.
ОтветитьJ. Carlos was a genius. There's a book "J. Carlos contra a guerra" (J. Carlos against the war) with his illustrated chronicles.
ОтветитьYour Videos are so goddamn good dude
ОтветитьThe era of art deco look like a wonderful time. The illustrators were great. But I thought the sculptures and manufacturers in the genre were even better
ОтветитьThank you for this WONDERFUL channel which I have only just discovered. As an amateur artist I am in awe of the artwork that Pete Beard shows us. MANY THANKS !
ОтветитьI firmly believe that this comprehensive series of videos should be recommended viewing for anyone interested in illustration, most especially for any aspiring students who want to understand the importance it’s played in the history of all art movements! ОтветитьYour vids make it somewhat easy to learn more every day thanks
ОтветитьSir, I am not an artist but enjoy reading and attempting to understand subjects beyond my limitations. You are a true educator and have the most wonderful voice and manner of speech. Thank you for your channel.
ОтветитьINTOXICATING
ОтветитьI thoroughly enjoy these fabulous , entertaining , and educational videos however, being hard of hearing , I wish you would tone down the annoying background music , it can be totally overpowering.
ОтветитьAlways liked Erte’s female illustrations
ОтветитьIjustFoundYourChannel😳I've
Subscribed..FANTASTIC!!!🎨💕
Pete, this was just inspiring to me. I think I may just go and fire up my giant light table and do some actual artwork after all these years. This was REALLY well put together...
ОтветитьStrange, that nothing seems to have followed art Nouveau, and art Deco, as a definitive style.
.
Wonderful! Thank you very much.
ОтветитьExcellent documentary, would be even better with lower music volume.
ОтветитьArt Deco is just so perfect. And the colours they used were unique. Thank you for your fabulous videos.
