I am a ganondorf main. And I dont play online or anything. Its only a party Game when friends visit. And gotta say ganondorf always dominates.

Could a character like Ganondorf be fair if it had like... absolute armor? Like, you can't even knock him back until you reach a certain percentage? Maybe make his attacks a bit slower. Make him feel like a Zelda boss.

I would like to see a character that has a perfectly predictable recovery but is simply unflinching while recovering. Don't know if there's any combination of weight, power and speed that would make that fair

Out of curiosity, if someone we re ganondorf name looking to gain more tournament viability in changing a character, what would someone recommend?

Btw the float is from ocarina of time, one of the most iconic games in history. Ganondorf will float in the air and shoot PROJECTILES (smash devs take note) Towards link that you have to deflect back at him

gannons side b shouldnt put him into free fall, if little mac side b doesnt then gannons shouldnt either

Ganon was made as a slow C. Falcon clone. That was never a good idea because C. Falcon only works because he's fast.

He is not really underplayed for a character that is the lowest bottom tier. He is popular enough, simply since he is funny.

Strong but baitable attacks that can be seen as one note and typically fall off at a higher level (while somehow also coming back at higher levels) seems to be the crutch of every bad character. Lil Mac Syndrome where a noob will over rely on power armored smash attacks because high level players make it look easy.

That mod having ganon float around for a brief time would be so awesome

Is Ganondorf really a bottom 5 character in ultimate?
I love using him. And I usually have good to great results with him.

I love watching this as a Ganondorf main, that one thing he needs to be atleast B or A tier is a better double jump and a better recovery.

Ganondorf needs to use his cape to reflect projectiles, small super armor around his joints during a dash attack, life steal healing effect after a stock knockout.

a random child can beat you while you play as ganondorf online with them button mashing, thats how bad he is.

You seem to also forget that ganon has almost completely useless specials. Neutral B is basically a taunt, warlock kick is far too slow and laggy to be a good burst option (unlike falcons version). And his up b is mediocre at best.

Correction. EVERYBODY plays Ganondorf. And we do so knowing full well that we are far more bound to lose than to win, but who cares? Nobody cares about winning with Ganondorf. It was never about winning. It's about sending a message.

The fact that he got his op sword and hasn’t shot up in tiers is wild.
To put him as f tier is a denial of evidence.

I like the idea of giving Ganon Peach and Daisy's float. If Warlock Punch was changed to be like DK's Giant Punch, Ganon would be a lot more effective.

They need to update Ganondorf, his model is amazing in TOTK, also his arsenal, and why not move set.

i hope one day ganon take over hyrule i will be there when that happens

That neutral B float mod is so cool. That’s much more in flavor than Warlock Punch and would it really be so bad if he became mid-tier as a result?

Honestly you really can’t do anything against the in built lag on wifi

I’d give him a controlled Projectile: either he can direction the projectile goes, Like Kum from Guilty gear, or a slow projectile that he can change the knockback angle of.

Its so weird, when ultimate first came out I got into semifinals in my area as ganondorf, but now hes considered the worst.

I loved his side B into down attack, but it seems like people can tech it now.

My Sephiroth amiibo actually fought against a Ganondorf CPU in a Tourney fight. Let's just say it did NOT end well for that Ganaondorf CPU! =3

ganon is very overpowered. His damage is stupid and his frames arent a big deal.

Just saying, If they were to nace him super faithful to the source material he would be either on the top of high tier or bottom of top tier
