Chi Amen-Ra and Marwen Amen-Ra - Djembe Drummers | Kresge at 100

The traditional djembe drum originated in West Africa and is thought to be anywhere from 400-800 years old. In this Kresge 100 Pop Up Performance, Detroiters Chi and Marwen Amen-Ra show off the percussion instrument’s powerful beats as the walk through the Kresge 100 event space and finish on stage in the Main Hall.
