I used to go to Chile often for work, and I met people there who are Native American. Nicole (Snooki) looks very much like the indigenous Chilean people I met. Years ago when I heard she was adopted from Chile, I knew she was Native American. It is the shape of her face, with the broad, high cheekbones.

My maternal grandmother's family came here on the Mayflower. I'm a direct descendant of Isaac Allerton. My mother's paternal side came here from Scotland in the early 1800s. My paternal grandmother was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I don't know much else on my father's side. He died in 1995.

Many latinos with DNA from Spain or Portugal will have a dash of Ashkenazi Jewish and/or North Africa due to the intermixing of those ethnic groups in Spain. I have both North African and Jewish through my Mexican mother. She is also over half Indigenous.
