Thanks
ОтветитьI can't agree on the AR rifle. It fits nicely under the back seat. It's used by militaries world wide in the front seat of a humvee...and has an exceptional round capacity over your follow up choices. In a gun fight...I'll take the AR over everything you laid down in this video.
ОтветитьI keep a PS90 and 3 magazines in a gun bag in my truck whenever I go anywhere. It’s the perfect size and I can carry plenty of ammunition without being too weighed down.
Ответитьdont listen to this guy. he just told you to have an sks as a truck gun. a 100 year old rifle to defend your life with a 10 round internal magazine that is top fed. this guy will get you killed
ОтветитьAn mp5 or vz61 is the ultimate.
ОтветитьI grew in a time when it was Kool to have a truck and a gun rack in the back window.
ОтветитьNo
ОтветитьFor truck gun I like a good .357 magnum stainless with a 3 to 4 inch barrel. Good corrosion resistance and good barrier penetration if need be. There are lots of other good choices but for me that’s the ticket.
Ответитьlove my kel tec sub 2000 for this
ОтветитьI’m inclined to say that the Keltec 2000 would be a perfect truck guy because it is a pistol orchestras rifle it takes a Glock magazine and that possibilities are endless
what you can add on to it
It’s an expensive weapon But pretty well made i’ve shot it many times
I think the keltec KSG is better than all them...AR pistol good choice
ОтветитьYou have 2 number 2…. Lol 😂
ОтветитьSetting up a IWI Uzi Pro as my truck gun. Waiting on a red dot, light and a case with locks.
ОтветитьI know you addressed this at the end but I am apprehensive about leaving guns in cars. I’ve been in law enforcement for 17 years and I’ve seen plenty of guns stolen out of cars. I would feel terrible if my gun was stolen and used to kill someone. That being said I am a big proponent of concealed carry. Keep your carry gun on your person always. God bless.
Ответитьsks
ОтветитьYou threw me a curve ball mentioning how a gun looked. If my truck gun comes out it is to secure it in my gun safe, clean it, practice with it, and God forbid, to use it. I do not care what it looks like. I carry an AR when traveling to town. At the ranch, my 30-30 usually rides in the truck. Shotguns are also a wise choice, but the ammo capacity of an AR in a city makes good sense. (think BLM and ANTIFA "check points")
ОтветитьWith my hands being labelled as Deadly weapons in all 50 states due to my classified training and positions held within the Government, I always find myself walking a fine line between what is legal and illegal when I travel in my truck!!! Even my wife makes me secure my hands in a specially made lock box before going to bed of which she keeps the key!!! Reason, to this very day sometimes when I dream about past classified missions, I beat up my wife thinking she is the enemy in my sleep!!! With that being said, I do wish I could just be normal again like the vast majority of the population. I hate being as Jethro Bodine put it, A Double Knot Spy!!!
ОтветитьWith 16 inch lever gun I would suggest shorten the length of Pull on the stock still keep it legal shorten it up
ОтветитьWhy no Ak pistol?
ОтветитьAr 15 pistol can remain loaded in my car, whereas rifles and shotguns cannot in my state.
ОтветитьThere may be states that you're not allowed to have a loaded long gun in your vehicle, regardless if you have a permit to carry or not. Pennsylvania is one of those States. It falls under the game commission rules.
ОтветитьCheck out the Hatsan Escort short barrel 12 ga
ОтветитьWARNING: DO NOT have a "Truck Gun" for non-law enforcement. Period. Leaving firearms and ammo in vehicles (locked there or not) where thieves can get easy access is the number one reason "bad guys" become armed & dangerous. Car break-ins, car jacking, & stolen cars have been going up & up for years. Now in the President Biden years crime is even higher.
ОтветитьMy moss berg 12 gauge is bed side. Up the hill😎
ОтветитьUseless
ОтветитьI would love to have ANY of these great guns, although a light rifle would be my choice. As it is, I only carry my Glock 42, my Glock 19, and my Henry AR-7 Survival Rifle.
ОтветитьI never thought I would want a ar pistol, but after doing some training in CQC it makes life easier
ОтветитьI like my M1 carbine!
ОтветитьShockwave is not made to be a truck gun.
I can't speak for every state and jurisdictions laws, but from what I've heard you aren't allowed to conealed carry a Shockwave and it isn't a rifle so when its in your car within reach its concealed carry...
Just make sure you aren't commitng accidental felonies.
Bushmaster xm15 e2s is my truck gun ... I like the shotguns tho
Ответитьi have the shockwave also i use an AK with an underfold stock. my handgun truck gun is a 1911.
ОтветитьFirearms cost too much for me to leave in a vehicle for criminals to steal. My gun will be on my person or in the house.
ОтветитьI have a shockwave in 20 gauge i love it not as hard to use as some people would think and im not a huge guy more like tom cruise sized
ОтветитьMy “car” gun is a 380. Living and working in an urban environment I found that small is better.
Compact car = compact gun. Lol
I hate the idea of leaving guns in a vehicle because of theft. But ideally i thing the ar pistol was a good idea, though why limit your options. I’d optimally like to keep a Glock-20, AR, and something like a Winchester defender or maybe a 20 gauge shockwave, and something small like a 10/22 breakdown maybe, for light hunting if you get stuck out in the woods. Thank the Lord for crew cab pickups with lots of under seat storage room. :)
ОтветитьI see where your at, as truck guns mean different things to different folks, but for defense..... Eh God bless you.
ОтветитьI never really saw a use for AR pistols, but you may have just changed my mind.
ОтветитьWhat do you do to prteget you truck gun I drive a dodge dakota ext cab I have a rock ilsand single shot 12 gauge I ran a wire through the triger graud and around the frame of the seat and put a padlock on it if somebody breaks into my truck the only way there gonna get my gun is if they have bolt cuters I freind of mine used to keep 6 guns in his truck and 2000 rounds of ammo all those guns on your list wear nice and cost a lot of money you got any ideas for truck guns under 200$
Ответитьmy truck gun is a keltec sub 2000 with a 33 round mag.
ОтветитьSKS is great just bayonet if out of ammo
ОтветитьWhat do you recommend for locking a rifle and or hand gun in a suburban.
ОтветитьCan you give the model# of the AR15 from PSA. I was just looking on their website. Which one do you have?
ОтветитьGreat Video
ОтветитьI love the shockwave as a truck gun. if that's your choice though, make sure you get out and get plenty of practice with it. Not very intuitive to shoot, ergonomically it's unlike a traditional shotgun with a stock. Anyting farther than four or five yards take some concentration to hit. If an armed attacker is getting up close and personal to your vehicle though, it's very easy to operate from a sitting position and would definitely get the job done.
ОтветитьI disagree with the Mossberg Shockwave. A truck (or car) gun should be legal in all states exactly as it is configured. It's still your responsibility to know where you can bring your guns, what permits you need, and how to store them to be in compliance with the laws. But I think you're better off with a shotgun that has an 18 inch barrel and a shoulder stock AND pistol grip. I like the Stevens 320 Security for this.
ОтветитьAr pistol is my go to for a tuck gun. In my state you can legally keep it loaded in your vehicle because it is considered no different than any other pistol and is covered by my concealed pistol license. Where as it is illegally to keep a shotgun or rifle loaded and in a vehicle in my state.
ОтветитьYes, shout-out to the SKS! Yugo SKS is my favorite!
ОтветитьI could use some prayer. The apartment I live in now has a drug haven just below me in the next unit. On a lease and money is tight. I need to make the right choices here. Any prayer is most welcome. Peace
