You should just make another tunnel bore for the nether so you don't have to keep swapping out the filters on the hands! (I think it would be nicer and easier to use then right?)

yo rage for the caves you can you use deep slate stairs and slabs to add a little more detail to the walls and make it look more natural

Couldn't you make "more tunnel bores" (Storage Variants) to carry a lot more resources (like shulker storage)?
