Proud to be the first man to bend 3 steps. I owe it all to you, my loyal viewers. I wouldn't have made it to this monumental milestone without you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Ответитьwhy do you speak so much
Ответитьshit sounds like mtv unplugged nirvana
ОтветитьShut up and play
ОтветитьBrooooo it’s funny I’m watching this today. Yesterday I got myself fresh pack of strings and I went from a .10/.11 gauge down to an 8 and boy they feel soooooo WEIRD 😂
ОтветитьGot 'em. Love 'em!
ОтветитьThis reminds me of a time when Billy Gibbons was talking to BB King about string gauges…
I can’t really get into it because of a non-disclosure agreement…
obviously it affects the tone what lol
Ответить90% of your tone is coming from the amp and pedals anyway so make playing easy.
Ответитьthe more of these videos i see the more i want to get either a bass or a guitar but i already drum and i just know i would suck at guitar
Ответить"What is this?!" A great video.
Ответитьi love the feel of playing solo and breaking the E string in the middle of it ...
ОтветитьDude can play any string! Nice bro😊
ОтветитьIf you going from a size 9 or 10 gauge to a 7 do you need to adjust the truss rod also are 7s better for beginners
Ответитьsay tone oone more mother fuccking time
ОтветитьEveryone becomes David Gilmour with .07s.
Ответитьi love 0,8 but 0,7 it´s weird.
Ответитьas an ex acoustic player, this is what it feels like to play electric for the first time.
Ответить13 sound bla
ОтветитьThe noticable difference is the action is higher. The sound of the neck is seriously prevalent
ОтветитьWhy play on thick strings at all? If there is a difference in sound, it is minimal, but playing on thin strings is much easier. Why complicate your life with a .13 caliber?
ОтветитьWhen you compared the string to dental floss I cringed. Imagine actually putting that between your teeth. Heughhh
ОтветитьThinking of putting 9s except for putting 8s on the first two strings. A good compromise?
ОтветитьErnie Ball Extra Slinky Electric Guitar Strings – (8-38)
ОтветитьTried 7's because of hand pain, Willie G's, they were too difficult to play in tune, requiring too light of a touch. Went to Wiilie G's 8's and they are just right for me, and sound grat, makes me feel like I have very strong hands. love them.
ОтветитьAdding the capo also changes the scale length so those 13s don’t feel like 13s.
ОтветитьFun fact: Brian May (Queen's guitarist) use's 7 gauge
ОтветитьJimi Hendrix used 8s on his guitar. So there's something to be said about light strings.
ОтветитьBilly Gibbons
ОтветитьJust found this video. It is dope!
ОтветитьThere's definitely a misconception that you need the heaviest strings you can comfortably play, and its simply not true
ОтветитьI play Dr Willy's .0007's I have them on a highly modded MM1. They are awesome just be gentle use a light touch.. Don't work so hard. They work better with finer grooves on the nut to stop them from walking in the slots😂 😂
ОтветитьJust hold it closer to the end dummy
ОтветитьLike a little kid again! 🤣Love it!
When I was a kid several people were trying to 7s and 8s, including me. My friends kept saying, "No man. Use 10s."
I played 8s for 6 months before anyone noticed and only because they saw me changing strings, Hahaha! That was 1977! Yeah, I'm old but still jam.
ah yes speaking in Gilmore I see
Ответитьthese the strings i use
Ответитьbest strings for funk, that's for sure
ОтветитьWell, maybe I can put that on my Gibson SG nest time, and have it a little more special than it is at the moment and stand out a little more in the collection. If I don't like it I just change it back. Nothing to lose. Sounds like a plan ... :D
ОтветитьI like my sustain, I can't play fast so my notes have to sing and for that I use 10 gauge rotosounds. I'll give the light gauges a go when I get around to it but I can't see myself changing.
Ответитьthese strings are useless
Ответитьbull shit my friend !
Ответитьi actually think the 13 sound the best the 7s sound almost fake but cool at the same time the 10s is were my fingers dont die so i play those but when i started as a kid my dad had 13 gauge and 12 gauges on his guitars and i hated life especially when i went to my friends house and he had 8s on his hollow body it was like heaven to my fingers
ОтветитьNERD!!!!
ОтветитьOk so literally I use 14 through 58 on my 6 string in e standard or drop c# am I weird?
ОтветитьI use .8 to .38 they go good with the whammy bar, I can never find the .7 gauge, I have just seen Steve Vai use them but never see them at the music store
ОтветитьInteresting but 0.070 is actually really thick, much thicker than a low E. The high E string is actually 0.007 or 7 thousandths in diameter.
ОтветитьMaybe nice to play and fun to bend, but they sound like shit.
ОтветитьYou didn't open the lock enough, dufus!!! Lol!
ОтветитьYou look like Carl Brown
Ответитьputs a high E 07 on and plays every string except that one for 3 min haha
Ответить
