Excellents choices ! You could have choosen a Timex instead of an used more prestigious one. I buy only new, but from Casio, Swatch, Kelton (a vintage brand, a former Timex associate that has been revived recently), Citizen . My most expansive watch is a Swatch and despite this I have fun.

Admiringly original collection, but a bit boring and some of the watches are pretty bad. Only one automatic... and that System51 crap, of all things. That Heuer... ugh. That G-Shock is waste of money, bluetooth is buggy and bad, always losing connection and it drains battery. Oh well...

Great content, Nico! Here in the Philippines, one can build a budget collection with Seiko SNKs, Alba, Timex, Casio & Axis watch. I vouch for Axis because of three main reason: they are sturdy af, water resistance is on point, and it is all-stainless steel. Have 2 axis watches ( a 2-tone dress watch & a stainless black dial beater) for over 3 years. Axis watches are marketed as a Timex sub-brand.

I also own 2 Alba watches (a leather strap date watch & a chrograph), & finishing quality is top-notch, being a Seiko sub-brand.

..and of course all my 4 watches are quartz, and im honestly proud.❤

I disagree with Caravelle being called a fasion brand, although i did buy mine purely for looks. I was unaware of the Bulova connection but as i am not a fan it wouldn't have mattered. I only own one other none digital quartz pieces. I picked up mine on ebay new for $50ish, i just purchased a friend the dsame piece for $40.
My Caravelle is not my beater, it is in my regular rotation. It shares a drawer with Hamilton, Omega, Tudor, Citizen Seiko and varied micro brands.
To me a fashion brand doesn't design or build, they just slap a label on the dial. Its just an accessory and are usually absolute junk. Like "Michael Kohrs" no hate id just rather buy a watch made by a brand/company thats primarily focus is watches.
If you like it wear it, i wouldnt consider Caravelle worth collecting but wearing/using absolutely. I appreciate the video.
