Ответитьfr i speak the teeniest bit of chinese (like a preschool level) and i went to taiwan - i could get very little done w just chinese, and usually when people would speak english to me i wouldn’t understand lol – but then i realized that if i spoke english more in the pattern of how they spoke it to me, it actually helped a ton!
hearing shit come out of my mouth that way felt kinda patronizing and racist at first but it legit helped me communicate so much more haha
It's not just Japan, every country is teaching English in thier different accent😅
I remember that day when my English teacher and I were fighting about how to pronounce the word "ONION"😂😂

One student said to me that your English pronunciation sounds so much like a native speaker that I’m finding it hard to understand you(of course in Japanese)
