New 2025 Genesis GV80 & GV80 Coupe Review "Luxury On A Budget"

Not sure I’d call this ballin on a “budget” though. Unless you have a large budget

Calling that a coupe is an insult to coupes

So disappointed they didn't offer the prestige signature 2024 GV80 in more color/combinations. Or allow the captain chairs to be added to just the prestige without the limited paint/interior/matte combos. A huge miss on manufacturer's part.

There’s a lot to love about both models, but with that said, I prefer a more traditional dash. Not a fan of the one continuous horizontal screen from driver’s side to passenger. It’s a bit uninspired to me.

I'm considering buying a GV80. some owners complained that battery is dead after a few days of no driving. Fixed? Thank you.

There is no coupe version... It should be called a hatchback or sport or something, but the common definition of a "coupe" on a car is two doors.

Lower position of the screen is better.

Coupe looks a little better. Lines are more interesting.

Good upgrades on the GV80. More elegant, better screens, and finally a conventional steering wheel! The coupe also is among the better looking SUV coupes; the best being Cayenne GT

It's unfortunate that they just stuck that ugly 27 inch screen to the dashboard just like so many manufacturers. For this reason i won't be buying a Genesis product.

shame the concept was nigh perfect only thing better on here is the rear end/taillights it could have targeted a younger/masculine audience.

GV80 should be EV80.

How many times can she say “GV80”? Lol. The coupe lost the aggressiveness of the concept. It looks almost frumpy now. The X6 and GLE coupe still execute the SUV coupe better.

So they have 4 doors coupes now that’s crazy

Is the “budget” in the room with us? 😂 jokes aside, this is one of the best looking “affordable” coupes on the market. The only other coupe SUV that looks as proportional as this is the Porsche Cayenne coupe, but at a much higher price point. The GLE and X6 are too tall and look a bit strange. The GLC, X4, and Q5 coupe all are strangely proportioned and look weird at certain angles. Combined with the amazing warranty, reliability, price, AND engine options. This is an all kill for sure! Cant wait to slap some custom wheels and tires on this baby 😂

How much engine power for GV80 flagship?

Glad they got rid of that hideous steering wheel that they first offered on the GV80 and 70 base model. UGLY!

After seeing videos of the concept version, the final release of the Coupe is disappointing. It lost most of the aggressive styling and even the colour - the orange was really attention-grabbing. It has apparently been relegated to stitching and piping. :(

The regular GV80 looks even more like the GV70 now on the front (except for the changes in the grill design). Probably a good move. I do not like all the piano black I see in the interior though.

Overall, very small refresh, not the boldness of Hyundai's other refreshes with the Santa Fe and other recent model changes that I expected.

When will you guys test drive the Genesis GV80 Coupe!?
