I really like some of the Vector optics dots.not as popular as the others but have lifetime warranty and some good quality and features.

Most have a dot that is way too small. A 3moa dot has no place on a handgun. A 6moa dot is the minimum size for me. 8moa works best for me.

A sub $200 list would be nice

Great video overall, you have a LOT of great information. However, I believe you're making too much over the "NEED" to re-zero after replacing the battery on sights like the 507C. I have a 507C on my HK VP9 and a Shield Arms on my S&W M&P Shield 9 PC. Both have bottom access batteries and I've replaced the batteries several times on both and never once had a need to re-zero. The first time, I assumed I would but when I got it to the range, I was still dead on. After replacing the battery a 3rd time with no zero adjustment needed, I realized it wasn't just a fluke. Granted, both of these RDSs DIRECT mount to the slide, no adapter plates are used, but even if there was a slight shift due to a poor fitting plate, for close range personal defense, you'll still be on target.

I'll take the 320 dollar eps red dot 6 moa what a difference going from 2 moa to 6. 6 moa is way better especially if you got stigmatized eyes .

I recently purchased a G19 MOS and was wondering if I should go with the EPS or the EPS Carry? Does anyone have any experience with either?

Finding a GOOD red dot that is compatible with my gun is the MOST frustrating thing to do. Most of the time you have to dig real deep just to find out if it fits! WHY can't there be a universal standard?!?!?

You've suggested not getting a gun that comes with a red dot and to get the model without, buying one of these red dots you've mentioned in this video instead. I'm curious as to why? What is it about those that come with (like the Hex or Shield) that you don't like? I've got the Shield that came with my Hellcat and so far, I've had zero issues with it and it seems pretty rock solid.

I wanna see you do a review on a Bushnell RSX-100. I bought one on Optics Planet for like $100 and slapped it on a Glock 20 MOS. I thought it was a good option for $100. It’s currently on sale for $88. Might be worth a shot to review, but it’s one of your more basic sights, obviously.

As a beginner I've been practicing around the house on my draw for about 3 months before I KNEW that I finally had it down!
Well, after going to the range and actually sending rounds down range, it's a TOTALLY diffent thing to recover the dot with recoil.
Looks like it may be a few more months!
Hope it's soon though, I'm 60 years old! Lol

Holosun is pretty hard to beat from a cost to feature standpoint. I have a Holosun and almost every pistol I own that has an RDS on it. They're kinda the Canik of the RDS world. Or vice versa, depending on how you want to look at it.

I just ordered a Smith and Wesson M&P Shield EZ for my wife and she wants a red dot sight on it. What do you recommend? I don't want to mill the slide, I want to use the dovetail from the back sight. I want to keep mama happy.

Maybe if Holosun had better customer service and warranties that were honored... Tried a 407c on a new M&P 2.0 10mm, it lasted about 175-178 rounds... Granted I was shooting hot loaded bear stopping rounds, 220gr hard cast handloads, but if it can't hold up to that, then it's not for me in a CCW / duty carry... (I was actually preparing for a trip into known big brown bear country, and this was to be my sidearm, backup to an AR in 50 Bro...)
Needless to say, Holo is in the busted bin, and Vortex Venom has earned its spot.. The Venom is at 450 rounds and still ticking...

I feel more confused about Ted dots after watching this. My feedback is be more clear and come with a list 👍

Holoson no way too many have reliability issues. Biggest reason I no longer use them I had 1 that loosened even with loctite after 50 rounds. I had another lose it's zero. Also if it rains good luck trying to determine which dot is real. Also your presentation must be e perfect or you will be fishibg

What are your thoughts on the Mecanik Red Dots? The MO1 and the MO2?

Out of all the red dots i've used i like the Leupold Delta Point Pro best .... Field of view and and clarity is better than the Holosun. And changing the battery is easy..... Plus the Leupold matches the foot print of the Sig.. And it's tough enough for the military, its tough enough for me.......
