Great Video. I have a 2008 Toyota Prius, I can’t for the life of me figure out if they’re halogen or hid bulbs. Would I be able to go from halogen to hid if I do have stock halogen bulbs? I’m trying to figure this out need the help

Be wary of factory LED. Just as the guy said, they are Integrated into the headlight assembly. If the LED goes bad for some reason (I know they're supposed to last forever but some LED bulbs didn't get that memo), it's not a warranty item and you're buying an entire headlight assembly and the labor to replace a headlight. Volvo quoted me $2,900 for 1 LED headlight assembly along with $600 labor...so that's $3,500 for 1 headlight folks on a 3 yr old car.

My wife won't let me by a car with Led headlights. What can I do? What cars can I walk back to halogen or some other type of lamps other than Led?

Great video. I have a 2016 Sierra that had HID headlamp assemblies in it. Hit a deer with and need new lights. I found some LED’s that a guy had taken out of his truck. They are the entire assembly. Will they plug straight into my truck with no problems? TIA

I live in Dover Delaware. I called today, to speak with the service people at WINNER SUBARU. ? Can you tell me if my vehicle (which I bought new from you ), has HID lights for the low beam, (if equipped ) ,in the owners manual. Oh know, they said. No way to tell...... I'm sure that they know, BUT want to charge me three or four hundred to check out and replace a bulb. Not very impressed with this dealership!!!!

Hello all. I recently moved about an hour away from my purchased a 2010 Ford F150 XLT for driving to work. I didn't want to put all those miles on my other car, and I wanted something with 4WD for snow and yard conditions at work. The problem I'm having is that the lights are way too dim for the amount of night driving I do on dark roads now. I am constantly toggling my brights on and off. I want some aftermarket lights or bulbs, I'm sorry I am not very knowledgeable about anything concerning cars. I would like the white light like my XTS cast, as opposed to the dim white lights. I see a lot of lights saying not for vehicles with factory HID lights. I've tried to check what he says in the vid, but I'm still a bit confused. If I give a VIN, would you be able to help me and point me in the right direction? I don't want to spend over 5-600 for lights and bulbs - I don't even know if I need both. Help!😫

Edit: They are halogens. I see a lot of aftermarket lights that are halogen and wonder if they need new bulbs to be brighter.

Halogen headlights with upgraded wiring loom. The improvement was enough that I almost didn’t need the driving lights, almost... Driving lights are Fyrlht nemesis 9000, Halogen 125w 24V.

I have the phillips led head light on my 08 silverado and my 2019 Traverse has the OEM HID projectors. I still love the light output and beam pattern of my Traverse than my Phillips LED headlights of my silverado. Yes the LED headlights are twice as bright than the halogen lights they had before and has better beam pattern than with the halogen. The only thing i love about my Silverado LED HEADLIGHTS the most is the pure white color. But i still think HID on projector is the best option out there. Even with the 4,200k color light. It gives more contrast than the 6,000k than any LED
