And yes, I've seen the original show. Yes I like it. Yes I like the movies. Yes I love the original Cobra Commander. Yes I love movie Cobra Commander as well. Yes I think he looks fine in The Rise of Cobra.

It seems I didn’t miss much by not finishing these movies.

the Helmet and Dressing sense in the second part of Cobra commander is just perfect

He's honestly the only actor who knew what the assignment was. He played his 100% straight. He's a big over the top villain and he owns it. If only the rest of the film was as good as him.

Kane = Cobra Commander

Out of all G.I. Joe variants this version of Cobra Commander is more badass in my opinion. Especially, the voice.

The director should have created G.I.Joe Movie as badass as Expandables, Rambo Series or like G.I.Joe Sigma Six anime series.

Hot Take:I prefer Rise of Cobra and Retaliation over Snake Eyes GI Joe Origins. They messed up Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow badly there[I don’t really blame Henry Golding though] but Scarlett and Baroness were good in that film.

I thought they were surprisingly very serious about giving the Cobra Commander character an awesome back story.

cobras were always as cool if not cooler than the joes, they had to sell toys so yeah!

There were a lot of flaws with GIJoe: Retaliation. But Cobra Commander was not one of them. He was perfect in it. Although I do miss the Latta voice, I understand not using it.

And Firefly was cool in it too. And yet....the movie was at best OK. Sigh.

JGL was good in the first movie, but....the whole part of him becoming the Commander and quickly being arrested afterwards was so incredibly lame. The writers/Director fumbled the ball right at the end.

Hang on...how did the High Sparrow get hold of a nuclear briefcase and Rods from God? And since when was he friends with Cobra Commander? This information may have come in handy dealing with Cersei and the Mountain.

Cobra Commander is one of the villains who won, kinda

For all the rough patches in these movies, the cobra test part to show of the nano tech is so well conceived and executed. Such perfectly, delicious villainy on display.

I honestly found The Villain faction cooler than the Joes. The only cool guy in the Joes is Snake Eyes and Joe himself.

This was the best character? No wonder it flopped...

The live action movies are all disappointments. The only thing I like is the Cobra Commander costume in the 2nd movie. I liked it so much, many years ago I bought a costume, and paraded around Comic-Con Baltimore like a jackass. LOL

The GI Joe movie was crap compare to the cartoon movie. Watch just the begining of that cartoon the Serpentor assosination attemp and you want to see the whole thing. That cartoon was great . Music action story perfect . This should be the movie insted of this crap they made.

honestly reason i hate cartoons becoming movies because they dont get all the details correct first off in the cartoons you have two separate characters cobra commander and dr mind bender and dr mind bender was the scientist in the cartoon but seems in this movie they mixed the two into being one villain and he was an actual snake not a man with a disfigured face least they could of put the make up on him.. but hey they tried.
