La musica Araba è stupenda

The commercials in the middle of the song sucks, man.

I love his sound and his playing. He throws in the Flamenco pieces every once in awhile which fit perfectly. One time he started to bring in the Flamenco and the Flutist came in and broke it. That's ok though, it still sounded awesome. I purchased an Oud and started to learn but after a shoulder operation I couldn't play due to the pain. I still pick it up every once in awhile but mostly just look at it....

لم يتخلى ابداً عن الروح الشرقية الطربية التطريبية لانه عليها نشأ.

So, how can I possibly listen to any western, even tempered, synthetic pop after hearing this? Probably Arabic scale systems are too nuanced for me to be really understood, but this definitely is far better than anything driven through any auto tune apparatus. I'd definitely prefer "outotune", though you the more musically gifted would probably love even that controlled.

one of the best things i did was exploring the world of the "generic guitar copies" (thats how i called those instruments), it was worth it

This Arabic music masterpiece was titled after a small town, which is located north of Madrid in Spain and called (Al-Qantara), which is an arabic word and it means (the arch) in architecture! .. This masterpiece was composed after Mr. Shaheen was there for recording a musicpiece with a Spanish singer; and he was inspired with the mood and the music that they were playing, which is a mix between the arabic style of music and flamingo, and because of that this musicpiece is a kind of mix which has Spanish elements inside it!
