"You should not use the term shell shock. It wasnt proper terminology".

It was literally like the most accurate name they ever came up with.

Well, there's extremely few to no WW1 soldiers left alive now- each at least have reunited with their friends, families and wartime buddies- in the clouds. ☝🏻🥲

Are there different types of shell shock and causes, such as victims of brutal rape, torture and criminal control of their victims..Spinal cord injuries, brain(frontal lobes)but always using rape as a main way of shocking a person into submissiveness?Until their victims are zombie like or mentally controlled.

This was frustrating and seemed to skirt around a definitive answer if this was a brain injury caused by an explosive shockwave.

It seems "Shell Sock" is an extreme form of PTSD.

Which is rare to see these days on account the Military better combat training, on site psychologist, hearing protection, higher quality food, etc.

As soon as a Soldier begin to show sighs of PTSD- they can pull them out an get them treated to minimize the severity of this condition.

As I understand wars can be won but even the soldiers of the winning side are going to be poison to the society. A war cannot be won, you can only fight how much you lose.

Pretty much describes my feelings after mining in Sudbury Canada for 12 years.

Mines should be fined and mangers jailed.

How could they NOT have had traumatic brain injury??? You got the impact of the shells hitting the ground sending shock waves that travel along the ground and up the nearest object, usually being a human being. And that equals organ damage.

I'm glad this disastrous injury is finally being understood for what it is. Thank you, Dr Perl.
