Vel Koz main here. For me it's the sunk cost fallacy. I have invested too many hours getting supp right that I feel like going mid will be like starting over. I have always been a bot laner (Ashe, Sivir); stopped playing ADC after I fell in love with squidboi. There was a game were I saw squid boi obliterate my team and I was like, "That champ looks so cool and is a monster - no a god!" You need to understand when I started playing league, I wanted to play ASOL(before current rework), because he looked so cool. Vel was the closest thing to me in terms of design. I struggled a lot with him when I started, got stuck in bronze; it's just now I am starting to understand what type of a champ he is, and I love it. Nothing like coming back from work and playing a Vel game.

As someone who mainly plays support and randomly picks champions(and suck hard)(not limited to traditional supports, I sometimes take teemo or jhin) ever since yuumi was reworked(I miss that fking shield and attack range).

This hits hard. Especially can't cs, bad at skillshot and building ad to replace the adfeed
