PS5 vs PS4: EARLY Graphics Comparison [4K]

Remember back when comparing the current generation with the previous was more exciting than the “better or worse” debate at the eye doctor.

Horizon Forbidden west plays well on the Ps4 .
But at 1080p at 30 fps .

I always love your videos. But one thing I will say, didn’t you compare the game play snippet from resident evil 7 PS4 to resident evil 8 PS five? It looks like you showed a mold creature. I beat RE8 twice(and I know the story of 8 don’t want to spoil it for anyone) but I can’t recall the mold creatures in 8. I’d be more than happy to be proven wrong.

Gen 7 (ps360 era) to gen 8 (ps4xone era) is the last time where graphical jumps between generations feels like an actual jump. Cod Ghost vs Advance Warfare and AC4 BF vs ACU, its hard to believe that those two games are just one year apart from each other but the graphics are sooo different. Nowadays, I don't see it that much, they only looks different if you zoom in for details or raytracing stuff.

The fact that u show actual gameplay for ps4 and a trailer for ps5 is very very weird

I think the difference is game speed and lag, the new consoles can handle online games better, graphics wise, literally the same

Wife just bought me ps5 after just returning to gaming in 2020 with ps4 (had ps3 & just lost interest in like 2016/17) I must say the greatest feature of the 5 is how much it compliments the 4. Ps4 is arguably the best console Sony has ever made. Loving the 5, but honestly it’s a beefed up 4. Long live ps4!

graphic is slightly better , but I love the load time ⏲️

So guys the ps5 have 2160p and 120fps but the ps4 has 1440p and 60 fps. but if you are a new gamer I recommend you the PlayStation 4

Do you know what HASN'T improved? The ability of millennials and gen z to figure out what literally really means, and to stop misusing it 50 times in the span of a mere sentence. Stop playing video games for awhile, stop watching MCU movies, stop listening to rap, and start reading books and doing your homework.

If you want a fair comparison between ps5 and ps4 try using the exact same games, otherwise it really defeats the purpose. Nobody is gonna argue that newer games are better (e.g gta5 vs gta4) but that has nothing to do with console’s capabilities

Typically it takes a game dedicated for the new console to showcase the new graphics.

Shadow of the Colossus On my ps2 still looks quite good.

They are extremely close. The PS5 has speed, SSD, a little bit improved graphics and an new UI, and other small improvement. It's not like comparing PS2 to PS3.. That was a GIANT LEAP.

Playstation 4 is still better, the graphics are amazing. I'm perfectly content with it and I own two ps4s. I'll still buy PS4 but I'll buy a pa5 for development when it's available. The only thing that's a giant leap is ssd and speed and it's framerate jump.

We have plateaued. The PS4 was probably 90% as good as it got. We are making tiny steps the rest of the way now.
