Will the large kit work for a single cab? Or do i need the extra large?

Hey Fonzie! I'm sure I'm not alone in saying this. Us consumers would LOVE of plasti dip would develope a "truck bed" type coating. Other name brands have done it, but I'm sure if DYC would develope it, it would be a top seller!

I love watching this video again and again and again againnnnnnnn. Plan to DIP my truck soon if warranty over.

Great video. Did mine yesterday.. a few tips..
1. Use a proper paint stirrer before dipping.. shaking the cans won't cut it.. the thin dip on top will run like crazy and the chunks in the bottom will clog your gun.
2. Watch the gun prep, use, and troubleshooting video.. you will need it.
3. If you have an extended cab truck, the bed and or ladders probably won't get you reach to cover the roof.
4. Train for a few months first. I'm in decent shape, but a few hours of pre-dipping, masking, and dipping is a serious workout.
5. Hit the peel when wet edges with an exacto knife before pulling (or just wait for them to dry and do this). I had a few pulls on the dip and was screaming/crying after all of that work...

I see that there’s is a bunch of water marks on the roof of the truck from washing it and not hand drying it will that cause any issues? cause I watched the full car guide video and realized you didn’t hand dry it and wasn’t sure if it would be better to hand dry then air dry because it leaves water marks but I’m assuming cause I see them in this video that it doesn’t cause any issues

what type of spray gun are you using. It look like an ordinary DIY small jobs unit. if so, does it have enough pressure?

A local "dipper" uses pool noodles between the bed and cab to support the masking paper. for most trucks they fit well.

So is that primer you sprayed first or the actual color and then just sprayed the second coat of it

I was about to plastídip my car until I figurares our radlecans can case 40 bucks compared to $500 initial kit for the spray gun and the paints … and clear coat is 20 bucks … total 60 bucks without a gun

Your Facebook team sent me to this video that unfortunately, doesn't help. My "complaint " was that removing thr bed everytine was getting old fast. My truck is Olympic white and dipping blue leaves A TON of white in between the bed, same dipping a red truck white. This video doesn't help solve or even try to answer my original question on your facebook page
