The OG Rode Video Micro in 2024

After seeing your zve10 rig videos I’ve been really thinking about expanding the gear I use on my camera, I think when I can afford it I’ll buy this mic, thanks for making this video :)

Greetings! I choose a microphone for my phone, for recording a musical instrument, I stopped at the rode videomic go ii and comica vm10 pro. The distance at which the recordings will be made will not always be close. What would you recommend? Is it worth overpaying for Rode?)

Not interested in rode videomicro II, but the OG is totally fine! i have one.

The 140SPL decibel rating is what drew me into this microphone. My Movo VXR10 can’t handle loud sounds without clipping and distorting. I think the Rode should work better for my projects.
