I have been extremely anxious lately and have started medication. However, I remembered doing yoga nidra years ago, and found your channel. I’m committing to doing a yoga nidra daily. I find my mind still gets distracted with worry, but I plan to keep going and see if it helps. Each practice feels so good.

It is the biggest reason I've been able to get through my anxiety. I am so so grateful as well. ОтветитьI started doing this consistently about a week ago, once a day. God, I hate doing this, as is the same with almost every good habit at the start.
Having ADD, its hard to get out the scattered thoughts in your head. I think this will help anyone, but especially people who have ADD.
After every session, there's a noticeable difference. Feel more relaxed, less scattered thoughts, able to think more clearly.
Consistency is key, hopefully we can keep it up.

ОтветитьHi Ally, this was a lovely quick practice and I enjoyed the time we spent focusing at each body part. I have been doing yoga Nidra for about 3 years between daily and weekly. I find this practice slows me down and reduces my reactivity in general. I also notice a sense of "I am not my body" which brings me back into Self. This is so grounding for me and is a beautiful way I like to connect with myself.

ОтветитьGood morning. Speaking here from Alberta, Canada. I have bin practicing yoga nidra for how long I’m not exactly sure but definitely months. There is nothing in my daily life that compares to the deep relaxation of yoga nidra. With that being that, I regularly was a cannabis smoker and never felt this relaxed, from even hot immersion as something like a bath. I appreciate these videos, and thinking about how this can help some of my family genuinely brings tears to my eyes. They are stubborn and have not tried it yet although I continue to educate them on the subject. I have bin cutting back & pretty much stopping cannabis & nicotine & have bin going through withdrawal symptoms including every single one that you could possibly read about. Before this practice I was trembling a bit after a not very restless nights sleep and this helped me upon awaking. I really like this gentle music as well as the singing bowls sounds; if you could possibly make another of these types it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

This short practice was what I needed on the go. My mind reached moments of stillness as I noticed sensations on both sides of my body. The equal breaths were nice, but I would have drifted off to sleep if they kept going longer, lol.
Thank you Ally, I love your Nidras. I have been practice regularly almost every day the last year and it have helpt me to heal my body and to stay more in balanced in my energy. It also helps me to recharge in the afternoon when I am feeling tired.

ОтветитьI'm a teacher in Pennsylvania and Yoga NIdra has changed my life!! I used to go, go, go until I was running around in circles, losing things, frustrated and not knowing how to relax. I do a practice daily, and I look forward to it immensely. I used to do Yoga, which I also enjoy, but I didn't always look forward to it and had to sometimes force myself to practice. This is exactly what my mind/body/spirit need on the days when I have nothing left. Thank you :)
