Since they're calling this a neighborhood vehicle and almost all neighborhoods have city streets how can you possibly drive around if it's not street legal? Wouldn't this be like driving a four wheeler around and getting a ticket for driving it on city streets? Am I missing something here

How many degrees can you expect the heater to increase temperature, compared to outside?
How would that affect the range?

Once again, the libs have destroyed a promising solution we will need in the future. I'm talking about the "NEV" or Neighborhood Electric Vehicle. Limiting these to 25 mph is the problem- 25 mph is too low to be useful. It ought to far higher, like 40 mph. This crippling limit is like so many others- power plants aren't allow to install cleaner burners, they are force by law to install much, much, much cleaner ($$$)burners, so they pass on doing anything.
Offshore wind and desert solar holds so much promise, buy they are prevented because they ruin the view. Hydro Quebec offers huge amounts of clean power for the Northeast US, (much like Norway offers to Europe) but NY state, the principle customer, passes law permanently barring it's use.

FYI, for the same money, you can get a 3-4 year old Smart car for $12,000 and that is a real car and very safe by comparison.

In tgat price range you can buy tge Dacia Spring EV for 13,000 € (in Germany) and have no issues with roads, speed etc.

The price is not right. A 6kWh battery costs roughly $1000. The motors are a couple hundred. The wheels should be less than $400. So where in the world is the money going?
