ОтветитьThe music is ruining this video, no violins doesn't suit the theme.
ОтветитьWhen East were competitive
ОтветитьNothing, but respect from all three of the guys towards each other. It's hard to earn Isiah's respect, but you can see how much he respects Bird. Not only as a player, but as a man. Isiah was right. After the comments that Rodman and he had made towards Bird after the 1987 Eastern Conference Finals, Bird could have easily spun the narrative. The fact that he decided to defend Isiah and Rodman and not throw them under the bus shows what kind of man he is. I have to say though it would have been interesting to see Thomas as Coach and Bird as the President of the Indiana Pacers. Talk about a dynamic duo.
ОтветитьThe 3 w the finger up while ball still in air is 😊.
ОтветитьYeah bring it back the open court show
ОтветитьI really enjoyed this video! Some of the NBA's greats just sharing stories! So good!
ОтветитьIt's amazing that in school Larry wouldn't give A speech because he was so shy but he relishes getting up in front of 40,000 people and putting on a show
ОтветитьGreat video with 3 legends.
ОтветитьAwesome, awesome interview and so much fun. I always imagined what it would have been if larry played under coach knight and stayed in bloomington and also played for the pacers!!
ОтветитьAll 3 of these guys could flat out play! Fabulous!
Ответить3 legend
ОтветитьQuestion, if Larry Bird had stayed at Indiana for his college career, would Larry be the same player in the NBA?
ОтветитьBird crying in a towel losing the college championship epitomizes his commitment to excellence and his pain of losing.
Very few of today’s players getting $60M plus annual payouts I don’t think have the same drive.
Read Larry’s autobiography DRIVE. It’s great
And praise too to Isaiah Thomas, a criminally underrated all-time great player
Would love to see MJ and Isaiah sit and talk things out in a interview like this..time to let it go
ОтветитьReggie has alot of class, he's a natural host. Great show with awesome stories 💪
ОтветитьIf you add Pippen this all is MJ's least favorite people ever lol
ОтветитьYou are burning bridges Reggie!
ОтветитьIn 88 it was was actually Game 6 that the Pistons beat the Celtics in...not Game 5
ОтветитьBro bouta play easy pete just wait
ОтветитьNot only is Reggie a good host/interviewer, he is among the very best at calling games!
ОтветитьChicago and Indiana are smack next to each other.
ОтветитьWhat a fantastic segment
Ответитьin 10 yrs will Caitlyn Clark be here?
Ответить🗣️INDIANA G🪙LD . G👍👍D STUFF .>🎤 🏀🗑️🤾⛹️
Ответитьplaying through injuries, these legends are made from a differnet breed.
ОтветитьBefore MJ, LB was my No1.
ОтветитьLarry Bird is the best basketball player ever. As Magic said. It is difficult to argue with any type of intellectual argument. You could say he played with hall of famers, or you could say he helped them to the hall of fame. He is the best draft pick of all time. If you are intelligent, would you pick Jordan and happen to find a Phil Jackson, or draft Larry Bird?
ОтветитьI respect Reggie for showing the utmost respect to Larry and Thomas. Thomas has many flaws but he was in good place here in this interview
ОтветитьThis was magnificent
ОтветитьThe “Who’s Coming In Second” thing was from the first 3-Point Contest in ‘86. Not ‘88.
ОтветитьTrue, no Carlisle, no Malice at the Palace - Isiah's right about that. And it's not that Isiah's a great guy - or even his Detroit hero cred. The team demeanor is just chippier on a Carlisle team. You see that on the current Pacers ... you even saw it game 1 against the Bucks.
Ответить3 hall of fame players telling stories, that’s all you need to know before you decide to watch the video. Great content
ОтветитьLarry Bird is such a funny guy 😂😂😂
ОтветитьMy goat BIRDY and IT
ОтветитьThis was so great, love to see the legends together!
ОтветитьWhaaaaaat they played in other venues ?!?? Hartford, CT
ОтветитьI have never heard anyone say that they seen basketball goal on barns other than Indiana residents. I am a hoosier and I have seen these goals on barns in the country while driving on the roads. We had magazine about Larry when he was in high school. Reggie talked about the high school game. Some high school players from Indiana: Shawn Kemp, Glen Robinson, Scott Silkes, Alan Henderson, and Mike Connelley to name a few. Check to see how many people born in Indiana played in the NBA &ABA (174 players)
ОтветитьOpen court probably the best basketball show of all time
Ответитьjordan committed a crime denying miller and marlone, barkley and ewing atleast one ring. those guys played their hearts out and jordan kept being the road block
Ответитьis thomas a vampire or something? he looks better with age than younger
ОтветитьLarry Legend is on the stage... SAY NO MORE!!!
ОтветитьReggie SHOULD have won a title. Anyone who ever watched a basketball game before 2010 knows full and well they were blatantly cheated out by the Lakers in 2000. They FORCED that so-called “dynasty”.. they cheated them to the title in 2000 and they blatantly cheated the Kings out in the 2002 WCF. The only time they should have won was 2001, they won that one straight up. But that’s it. The refs and the Lakers blatantly cheated the Pacers out in 2000. Everyone knew it. They were shilling so hard for LA back then, and the Lakers as this “new millennium’s team” nonsense. If you lived through it you know exactly what I’m talking about. Reggie and Pacers absolutely won the title in 2000. The refs and the league completely ripped it right out from under them. That was when the league started slowly declining after that. Though the NBA was at its best in 2003 or so, but it slowly but surely began to decline on a continuous path after that 2000 finals series. That was when the NBA became Hollywood.
ОтветитьIf Pg is still in indiana, he wouldve been in there
ОтветитьI hit 12 in a row from half court than walked up to the basket and made 13 in a row left handed with back turned to FT Scoop Shots, one handed. That's twenty five in a row at my Sisters school she taught at South Prairie Elementary in front of like 65-100 screaming kids.
My Brother Mike hit 12 in a row against a 65 MPH wind with no net from a mere 77 Feet. Note: He was shooting against the wind. Dude went Fuego beast mode and I had no answer Lol
Beautiful show.
ОтветитьBefore there is Jhon Wick,
"There was this Larry Bird who shot behind the BACKBOARD"
Who would fckn think of shooting a b-ball behind the backboard in 80s NBA?
With the jacket on I'm done ✅
