How to Play the NEW Sombra Rework in Season 7 | Overwatch 2 Guide

I played her because she's fun to play, especially the use of translocator to make a nest behind enemy lines, i'm not in anyway good at fps games, but in my humble casual player opinion, the rework make her becoming non other than any other flank... its just not fun anymore

I feel like sombra have does very little to disrupt most times. It's 1 second ability block and then I'm on the back foot

Virus feels like BY FAR the hardest skillshot in the game! I miss it most of the times

I literally picked her up for the first time and all I am wondering is why TF cant I use the Virus while in stealth? like... can u make the moves even more clunky Blizzard? wtf

Man I have never had more trouble getting used to a reworked hero before than with this iteration of sombra. She used to be one of my favorite characters to play but now the only playstyle I’ve found to work is just so boring. I’m hoping some of this will help

My only Tip. When in combat and you want to stay in combat Always Translocate UP ⬆⏫. not to the side, not over a wall. Just straight up⬆⏫. If you have good healers they will keep you going and you will have an advantage, and 80% of the time no one on the Enemy team will know where you went.

Garbage rework. Guess we all have to have fun playing tracer 2.0

people get so mad when i play sombra. i kept killing a zen bc he was an easy target and he still kept choosing zen, like switch off wtf lol

Not that important but one thing you forgot to mention is virus actually does an initial 10 dmg on impact for a total of 110 dmg and 20 dmg on impact for a total of 120 dmg if hacked

sometime I will invisible behind my support because there is assassin targeting my support it really work to take them off and save the support

I constantly struggle to kill healers cuz they always get pocketed by another healer it just makes me wanna cry

I've never had more run playing dps in comp before this rework and especially with a good support teamate.

Almost any DPS is a 1 v 1 target. I mean you burn Widow, Hanzo, Ashe with the element of surprise and virus. Soldier is a little tricky, his heal station makes it a poor war of attrition.

Mercy, LifeW, Lucio are easy targets alone. Ana is dangerous if she has sleep. Brig is decent, but she’s actually better to jump in a team fight when you can virus, attack from behind and make her vulnerable to fire on both sides.
Zenyatta is basically like a kid in a candy store. Slow, easy to virus, easy to shoot and it’s over instantly. For Kiriko’s you wait in invis during the fight, when she uses instant transmission or suzu you hack and virus. Sometimes you kill her, but usually she’s at least low for follow up.

PvE they promised in 2019 with the 100s of missions and talents upgradeable things surely they did it ohh it's cancelled you get nothing 3 missions wow awesome PvE game 3 missions

Are you proud a billion dollar budget and gave you 3missions took them 5years

She will get nerfed 100%

As a sombra main I feel pretty good I was worried but I like I can kill a lot better now i wish her smg will do just a little more damage I like it cause we can be fast and take over a fight quickly

Ugh. I hate this. They're ruining this game.

Had a game that I was doing too good flanking that the enemy dps and tank we're chasing me across the map lol. (We lost sadly but I was in their head rent free)

They turned her invis into Evelynn from league of legends

guide wa good! but in my opinion sombra was cracked enough before the rework and now its almost impossible to kill her

One good tip is if you can, take a fight near almost on top of a hacked health pack. Hacked health packs respawn fast enough where if youre fighting a support, they most likely wont be able to out dps the heals from the healthpacks your getting so the fight is pretty much won for you in that situation

I was absolutely trash at sombra, after the rework getting 20+ kills was almost guaranteed (talking about qp)

Sombra is so fun to play now its insane
