Glad I live in the Deep South. We have one hiding spot like that on our freeway for 12. Literally one single spot they pick every single time, as long as you slow down before you pass them they never come out after you. I’ve literally flown up doing 100+ and slammed the brakes and as long as they don’t clock you they are lazy hillbillies and they aren’t chasing you. Shit I’m 23 and they used the same hiding spot my entire life and it’s clear as day you literally see them a mile or two away and once you pass that hiding spot you can floor it for a good 10-20 miles before you need to watch for 12

Even if they're using burner phones, the cops could figure out what app they're using based on the audio from the user reported traffic alerts(they're not always accurate), they could subpoena the data from Google or whoever since they have the time and location. Same with cell tower data. Then, just track their movements and pull security cameras. With a little surveilance, these guys could get cooked.

For an operation like this, you'd have to go no-phone. Keep it in a faraday cage bag otherwise. They already have radios, there's no reason for GPS unless you want to be tracked by satellites and big data. Make sure to turn off the radios when you're not using them too.
