Easy way to define warriors in vanilla

In my original run of wow i played shaman and mage, but a pal of mine really liked warrior. At one time he let me play with his war for a few days. I absolutely loved it. I mean what is not to love, if you are an old school gamer that enjoys a bit of a challenge, the warrior is by far the most complex class to play, that easy to learn, difficult to master, kind of deal. Most of your best damage abilities are split between battle stance and berzerker stance, with defensive being more for tanking or surviving tough enemies. But when you learn to do proper stance dancing, make a few useful macros that help you jump stance AND use an ability from that stance too, the game becomes much more enjoyable. With most casters and hunter you will only be using 3-4 buttons max, but with the warrior you have to become a piano keyboard master, switching stances at the right time to use a powerful AOE off CD, switch stance to use that sweet overpower proc, switch again to cast a rage ability then switch to defensive with an equip macro that automatically puts on your shield so you can shield bash an enemy caster and so on.
With proper macro knowledge and mastering the stance dance, the warrior is the most compllex and interesting class to play in WoW.
During my run in classic i was going to take it easy and i mostly played a fury war that tanked 5 mans well and participated in most raids, fury spec was the best for me because i always had enough fury to use most of my abilities and it had some nice utility as well. But my ultimate goal was to get that sweet red armor set with spikes from ZG that makes you look like a proper ORC WARRIOR. After i got all the pieces and looked badass, i stopped playing. It was mission accomplished for me!

The only thing i hated was fighting against warlocks.
Not because of the fear but the dot´s.
Taking down the Warlock himself wasn´t that big of a problem but the dot´s that lasted beyond his death allways killed me without any choice for me than dying.

Pretty questionable regarding different lores which usually tell: Killing the Caster = Lifting the curse.
Doesn´t count for WoW lore apparently.

Slow to level and can't pull more than 2 mobs.

Sounds exactly like how my hunter experience is going so far. And it's supposed to be the easiest class to level.

I was miserable as a warrior. I picked the class back in Vanilla and kept playing it till WoTLK. I was forced into the role of a tank almost wherever I went PvE-wise and was quickly booted out of a party since there were too many DPS classes and no tanks.
Other people that played warrior class got off easy and were allowed to DPS and not suffer the stress of tanking bosses or mobs. If I did try to DPS I was quickly told to switch back since that's the only thing warriors are good at, period. I guess I was unlucky for a long, long time. But in all honesty, I was miserable and unhappy. Not to mention other people that liked to flex their tanking skills like Druids or Death Knights kept telling me how they took 2k less damage then I did.
Its a fun class when it comes to adventuring in the world, but it was a horror show when it came to other game content.

I leveled with a protection warrior. I know, madness, but I honestly had no interest in constantly stance dancing, switching gear and being less capable in dungeons as a tank. I wanted to be the best tank possible and that can only really be done by going with protection. Your job is to hold aggro and absorb damage, not dealing it.

Ah yes the first aid suggestion. I've leveled my warrior to 60 without ever need it, i took it, forgot i had it around lvl 20 and never leveled it

I love how so many videos claim that you "get" Whirlwind Axe at lvl 30, but fail to mention that the quest you have to do for it is borderline impossible before you reach at least level 36, or someone boosts you through it. That IS an important detail to add, you know?
