The 2011 market is over saturated with expensive guns! Its to the point now that Staccatos are consider entry level or budget tier, the amount of $4,000-$9,000+ 2011's is mind boggling.
ОтветитьCan't explain why anyone is clamoring for more 1911s today. Yes, technically they work, but so does a 1911 model T Car...
ОтветитьTake a bul for cheaper or Apollo 11 for half the price. Even platypus from stealth arms is way cheaper and you can customize everything
Ответить$2,500? No thanks. I’d rather get a good $1k 1911 and spend $1,500 on accessories, ammo, and training.
ОтветитьThanks for acknowledging my bitching at you for every video having 20 different new 1911s and then continuing to make a video about 1911 I love your humor keep up the good news
ОтветитьSpringfield Prodigy $1,200,plus EGW Ignition kit $135=$1,335.00 with the price difference of $1,200 You can get red dot and 4,000 rounds for training.
ОтветитьBring back the Para Ordnance!

2,500 hundos? WOW!
ОтветитьIf this was a 1500 gun, it would probably be worth it. At 2500, they need to revise it and add the features you talked about. Other than the checkering, that probably will require a machining change, the rest should be simple part changes. They could, honestly, spend about 400 extra per gun and add the extra grand of value proposition.
ОтветитьListening late
ОтветитьIs there a price I’ll just go get my platypus
ОтветитьHow funky are these comments....
ОтветитьOnly a couple hundred under a double stack 9mm Wilson Combat from a company with no track record? That’s crazy. Who is their target audience?!?
Another awesome review.
For that price I’d just go with a Staccato
Ответить2500 $ ???????? Can buy a staccato for that. A pistol that is vetted by law enforcement. No thank , looks like trash. Recoil looked horrible
ОтветитьFor that price I'd get a DWX compact and the remaining money in ammo.
ОтветитьWhen there are Rock Island and girsan 2011s that probably have the same ergonomics 2500 is excessive
ОтветитьMost if not all 1911s require you to break your grip to hit the slide release if you have average sized hands. It's better to just use your support hand than shift your primary.
ОтветитьMe: Just take my money!
*Throws hand with nothing in it at Jacob Grey
Also Me: Aww dang.
Let's Go Brandon! Let's Go Brandonomics!
You did the thing from the guy in Your add 😂
ОтветитьNot sure why these 2011 people are asking such rediculous prices. Screw that for $2,500. We can almost get a PVS14 for that… a legit super power.
ОтветитьThere's a new double-stack 1911(2011) coming in under 1k recently reviewed by Colion Noir that seems to do pretty well by comparision.
ОтветитьSome say the classics never die, but they do.
ОтветитьIn a world where CZ and clones exist with practically every modern caliber available, there's fewer and fewer reasons why boutique brands hedge their bets with a 1911-pattern other than the design has been digitized for CAD/CAM without much looking.
ОтветитьYall broke crying over 2K
ОтветитьOff topic, but have you shot the Platypus ( post shot show)with the less aggressive prickle grip?
ОтветитьHi, we're a new company to the market, but we're competing against Dakota. Let's put out a cicada price with no feedback about our gun.... 2 years later, they closed and were no longer in business.
ОтветитьMy buddy has this gun, and it is a phenomenal shooter. Very smooth, very fast, and even with irons you can pump out some gross splits.
The smooth sides aren't a problem like I thought they would be.
PS. Guess I just have a better grip than John. Which is wild cause the gym and my job have made me hands really rough.
I think all 2011s are range toys. 17rd+ capacity, flared mag wells on fat grips, optics, ambi safeties, weight. All of that isn't optimized for CC, even in winter time.
People like to tell you they carry 17rd guns every day, but what they really carry is a Sig 365 or a Glock 43X.
I can comment.
ОтветитьWhy are double-stack 2011s this expensive? Do they actually mine the steel?
ОтветитьDid you shoot it without gloves? I feel like the grip has some kind of micro texture almost like 3000 grit sandpaper and stays in the hand pretty well.
ОтветитьYea I thought this was gonna be a budget gun with all the downfalls and then you bust the 2500$ nut 😳
ОтветитьToo pricey.
Ответить$2,500 range toy? No thanks
ОтветитьBut Tisas/SDS make excellent quality firearms and priced low.
Ответить👍👍😊😊
ОтветитьSkinny Medic Rulez
ОтветитьI have a very very high amount of dislike for that dual radius cut at the front of the gun. Yuck.
ОтветитьJust get a staccato
ОтветитьThanks, I will build my own myself.
ОтветитьWhat's the brand? Plus I have an idea since you have several of these " 2011s" I think you should mildly torcher test them. Nothing crazy lite dust, pouring water on them and no burying them in mud. Just think it would be interesting
ОтветитьWhy aren't any othese comong to California please take my money.
ОтветитьNot a chance...DS 1911s in 9mm are just dumb and overpriced.
ОтветитьCorrection, this company has been around for 11 years not new at all they have been in business for 11 years making guns mostly the 1911, some AR15s and recently the TWC9, the tolerances and slide to frame fit the barrel fit OMG this gun is every bit as good as a Staccato. I will say the grip texture is a bit sparse BUT if you can hold on to your gun you should be just fine, this is one of the most reliable guns I have shot so vertical stringing is almost entirely the shooter not the gun. I shoot an easy 2" group at 15 with this gun, I will add that I have a Staccato C2 and an XC along with a Nighthawk Fire Hawk and an Atlas Ares and an Athena and the TWC9 shoots middle of the pack of all those guns and the only one that is ballpark in price is the XC so to get you stringers you're definitely pulling. I get the feeling that there could be some bias towards Jacob Grey just a mediocre review for a great firearm this is an aerospace company before it was a gun company making OEM parts for jets like the F-35 so they understand tolerance very well and it shows on this firearm. I have started to see them in Scheels, Gun Broker and numerous other locations. I do know that Scheels is picky and won't sell something they don't stand behind 1,000%. word to the wise if you find one DONT pass it up the prices on these will go up into the $3,000 price range by years end they will be in high demand (Guaranteed)
ОтветитьGot same pistol and thts a lie got staccato to an they shoot head to head
ОтветитьWent to purchase the gun in handlings the gun realized that the safety was poorly fitted actually was loose on one side should never happen for a $2,500 gun!
ОтветитьShot mine recently on a hot humid day with no issues.
ОтветитьI wish all gun reviews were this short and to the point.
