Hindi me commant keren
ОтветитьI'm running this and diamond wheels. Stone holds the heat and diamond draws the heat.
Ответитьmakes it sharp
ОтветитьThanks so much! 😉👍
ОтветитьGreat video, we can finally setup our oregon grinder properly and start using it.
ОтветитьThis video is exactly why I need to just use a file... the machine will leave burrs behind and you still need a file to clean it up...
ОтветитьI just bought one from a guy, that had only been used a couple of times and only paid $20 for it. I did not come with a manual, template or shaping stone, with only one sharpening disc. This video gave me everything to start sharpening my collection of dull chains. Thank you!
ОтветитьUse new 2 and 1 tool grinding wheel too time consuming
ОтветитьWhat should you do of your chainsaw seized up.someone forgot to mix has and oil on one side.
ОтветитьNice clear video, a bit too quick perhaps, but covers all the points. Interesting that it recommends a separate profile for trimming the depth gauges, but logical
ОтветитьWells
ОтветитьI bought one it's a waste of money I'd rather use the round and the flat file way better.and more fun to do it this way while I enjoy a cup of coffee.
Ответитьthe only video which say about the shape of thegrinding wheel! welldone!
ОтветитьThat is a nice tool, but when needing to sharpen your saw in the field, you don't have time to go back to the shop to sharpen the chain. With files in the field with you, the same thing can be done by hand.
Ответитьi bought this and works for shit, you get 8 cuts and its dull, neighbor down street same shit
ОтветитьNo mention of the 'down angle' and which was is correct ? All my chains need 10 degrees but how to set correctly ??
ОтветитьI bought the same grinder with someone else's name on it and the lever that tightens the vise came lose after half a chain! I paid 140 bucks for a tool I had to fix myself!
Ответитьwow... the grinding wheel on this machine is exactly what we have.
Ответитьnever go into the forest with one chain and one chainsaw. You also need a buddy
ОтветитьTheyre mainly meant for shops that make a living at sharpening chains and fixing saws. I personally think hand filing would be quicker though
Ответитьето чтобы цепь не горела...
Ответитьebay?
ОтветитьFUCK THIS !!!!
ОтветитьWhen you are in the middle of a forest in the rain where do you plug this set up in?
Ответить...and don't mount the grinder to a wobbly upright pipe as seen on the video...
Ответитьbecause they do not use a chain saw to make a living or to stay warm. toss that pink wheel in the trash can as it will make trash of your chains. Check out mine
ОтветитьThanks for posting. I just got this machine today and this helped clear up a few questions I had - mostly due to a poor user manual.
ОтветитьHow do you stop the motor from moving so that I can put my grinding disk for the first time set up.
Ответитьno way will it give pro result with pink wheels alos use the 10 degree feture on chesle chain
ОтветитьWhere can I buy this Oregon Chainsaw Sharpening? I'm Brazil, you would have a link to any site that has marketed this product?
Have to agree there
ОтветитьThe tilting of the saw chain holder is only necessary for certain chains/saws. Your manual should have the chart.
ОтветитьI'm just going by the directions that came with my sharpener. I guess that's pretty funny. Not like "Oh my aching sides!" funny -- just sorta "Meh" funny. Maybe even "Golf Clap" funny. Actually, it's not really too funny. Guess you had to be there.
ОтветитьThat model is different than mine. See video IQPgLyFwFWM
Ответитьas a chainsaw mechanic i would love to see how he would set a depth gauges on the other side of the chain becouse oregon grinders only running one way....its a good sharpener but you need to modify that the wheel can spin both ways....sory for my bad english :D
Ответитьyeah same, maybe this is easier in the long run, for someone who does it all the time in a shop or somin
ОтветитьAre you serious? It seems it would be easier to do it with a file.
Ответитьprice for this?
Ответитьthe tilt is saw!lol, you can sharpen you can do sharpening faster, your answer to forward and reverse is that the foley can do opposite teeth,id cary on using the foley mate
ОтветитьI have a 308 Foley sharpener. It does not have the 'tilt' how important is that? The Foley has forward/reverse motor, how important is that? I bought it 13 years ago at an auction for $50.00 and have sharpened 1,000's of chains for customers and my tree service. I'm thinking about buying the new Oregon speed sharp so I can sharpen carbide chain there's a few fire depts. that run them. Any thoughts on this?
ОтветитьI wonder why they don't mention the tilting of the saw chain holder to one side and then another to grind first the left and then the right side teeth? On my sharpener (which is identical to this one) There are three "tilt" settings -- zero tilt and ten degrees left and right. Other than that I suppose this video is accurate. I think that they make the dressing of the depth gauges a little more complicated than is necessary. Thanks for posting this vid!
