I agree! The red eye rabbits remind me of the Bunicula vampire bunny movie. 😂. I don't think I could process a rabbit. Looks like ya'll did a great job though.

Great video and great job. This is our processing day as well. Never easy but necessary. The Rabbitry Center has been a great help to us as well.

I've only ate wild rabbit one way. I would love to see how you prepare/cook with the meat! I have been curious about raising rabbits for meat a little under a year. I definitely would be concern for the bad day... Thank you for sharing!

You folks are what I wanna hear. Very inspired! I garden and have home dairy but just lack the nerve to get into butchering. Want to some day though. Keep making these videos ❤

This was cool to watch. I need that loveseat link since I'm sick of my children tearing up furniture.

Yay, you picked the doe I liked! Great job with the rabbits, and I am glad you chose to use the tools I had considered getting, so I can see that they work well. Just like y'all, I'm all about humanely dispatching the animal as efficiently as possible.

This is the tough part of raising animals for food but it's part of the job. Lol Demon rabbits 😂😂😂. The process seems similar to chicken processing. You guys got a lot of meat. Y'all did a great job for the first time. Maybe we can add rabbits in the future. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your evening

I always enjoyed raising rabbits. Ive personally raised hundreds of them and butchered them myself. Now that being said, i always raised New Zealands crossed with a Flemish Giant buck. I also used New Zealand bucks on my doe's also. They always did fine but i had a California doe and she was meaner than a striped snake. I do mot recommend California rabbits. Also i always fed good rabbit pellets and alfalfa hay. The moms always did well with the babies and produced lots of good rabbits. I always fed vitamin wayer to my rabbits and chickens. The vitamins always seemed to keep them healthy and rabbits were ready for butcher in 8 weeks. The vitamins come in a envelope and i would get them at Tractor Supply. They are powder gorm and i just mixed it in their water. They loved it. I had 2 doe's die at the same time once about 2 werks after birthing a litter, its called Sudden Doe Death Syndrome and there's not much info on it. Anyway good luck and enjoy the meat, i always did

We have a family of rabbits here we'd like you to practice butchering on too. LOL I loved how cute they were until they started going to our garden. I still think they are cute though. It has to be a bit difficult culling them, especially after naming them and getting attached. You two have made the transition well. Great job for first timers.
