Minecraft puts more of a focus on building, but I'd say that Terraria objectively provides you with more tools to be artistic. You can paint and shape blocks, actuate blocks, craft actual decorations and items of furniture, and work with a more complex electrical system than redstone.

my only complaint after playing this game since it was released is there isnt enough bosses for my liking. But modding fixes this issue with calamity so my complaint goes away

Those revs were writen by twitter femboy furry gay casuals who are posting "domestic abuse" when mom says to wash the dishes. I saw the guy who cleared terraria without damage with only 1hp on master yesterday and I'm also doing master character + classic world run now for the second time

Terraria actually holds your hand more than Minecraft because it has a guide and minecraft doesnt. But for some reason minecraft never gets criticized for that.

I dont think saying terraria has less creativity compared to minecraft isnt really fair or accurate. terrarias building system, although not 3d, is honestly more creative than minecrafts. the blocks and walls and paint all combine really well together to make really good builds. its not really fair to say that terraria doesnt incentivize you to be creative becuase minecraft ALSO DOESNT! People just build because its 3d and honestly, there is less to do. if people played minecraft like terraria it would not be nearly as fun

Must say: This is a really,REALLY slow burn game,2 hours in and i was already considering dropping the game,luckily i managed to keep going and im so glad for it.

The game is pretty fun as long as you dont have to look at the wiki because the game just feels like a wiki simulator

Fun fact: a better way to see if you want to play the game, is just checking how rediculous the negative reviews are instead of checking the like/dislike ratio

I think mainly why there are so many negative reviews is because you have to get a friend to teach you. There is no tutorial. Your knowing friend and the wiki is your only hope.

The first review and how you explained it is really accurate, I have occumulated over 5k hours in fps games only recently touched terraria, and even with my reflexes I absolutely suck

Terraria is basically the 2D version of Minecraft we wish we had.

valheim is a great game its not padded at all lol it's just slower?? terraria has items which drop 1/10000 and u say valheim is grindy lmao

I have nearly 1600 hours in and it's still fun and challenging for me. I enjoy the grind for items, i enjoy the euphoria of beating bosses, i enjoy killing the angler, all it is for me if just plain fun

Imma be honest, Minecraft is unbeatable from a new person's perspective with 0 outside input. You wouldn't even get to the nether due to portals only being shown with ruined portals, which don't even tell you to light them on fire, and if the player tries, there may be something preventing it from working. You'd also think that the only boss is the wither, as you may find paintings depicting it, however you wouldn't reach it until you get to the nether (if you even get there).
